Staff are very informative and easy to work with. Prices are very fair - both selling and purchasing.
One of the best gun shops in the city. I often travel from the East side past several other gun shops to come here. The guys are friendly and very knowledgeable, and they often have odd accessories for old guns when few other shops even know what gun I'm asking about.
They don't stand behind what they sell. High prices and very poor service. They have nice equipment in the range, but unreasonable rules and the RSO's are the worst I have seen in any range in this area. Would give 0 stars if I could.
There are a handful of gun shops on the Westside and this one is my favorite. It's a small shop and I've bought a few guns from them as well as a good amount of ammo and accessories. The guys behind the counter know their firearms, are conversational and engaging. They're my first stop when I'm looking for something to add to the collection.
Watch out they will charge you more than the item is priced at. Stay away
WARNING - BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH KYLE'S GUN SHOP - SEE BELOWI placed an order several weeks ago for 1,000 rds of Federal HST pistol ammo. I inadvertently ordered 20 of the 50 round boxes, which is more expensive than if I had selected 2 of the 500 round bulk option. I called FIFTEEN minutes later and told the store that I had made an error, and wanted to restructure the order to get the bulk discount. The order was still in the warehouse, sitting in an unopened 1,000 round box from Federal. But Kyle's refused. They said I would have to pay a ~ $150 restocking fee to cancel and place a new order, even though nothing had shipped. $150 to pick the box up off the floor and put it back on the shelf... They shipped me the exact 1,000 round case in the box from Federal - no repackaging or anything extra labor-wise (that repackaging labor is why it can cost more if you don't buy in bulk). Over the next several weeks, I sent THREE emails to Kyle's and made TWO phone calls asking to be given the bulk price (= a small refund of the difference) where I talked to 2 employees who took down the details and said they'd make sure Kyle got them. All 3 emails and both phone calls were completely ignored - no response. Today I made the 3rd phone call, and finally got a call back this afternoon telling me that I was at fault for how the order had been done, and no refund would be given (of course Kyle himself didn't make the call).Poor, poor business ethics. There are plenty of reputable companies who don't ignore customers and refuse very common sense refunds in order to make a quick buck. They've lost my business and that of my family and friends (a rather extended group). Consider whether you want to give a person / company like this your business as well. I can tell you what kind of experience to expect if anything goes imperfectly.
I’d been looking for a Mossberg shotgun all over the place. I searched other local gun shops and online with no luck. I walked in to Kyle’s Gun Shop yesterday and they had several shotguns for me to choose from. There were some I’d never heard of, so I wanted to do a little research to make sure I was buying the right shotgun for me. The guys working the counter didn’t rush me or make me feel like I was wasting their time. In fact, they walked me through features of every shotgun they had. Never pushing one over the other and I really appreciated that. So after doing a little research I decided to head back tonight ad bought my Mossberg. The whole process was fast and easy. I once bought a gun at another shop and it literary took an hour to run my background check and find a case to put my gun in. I understand that all the shops have issues with inventory due to the high demand. But, Kyle and his guys took great care of me. And if they don’t have it in stock, they can get it. Thanks guys!
I have lived on the west side all my life and had always wanted to do business with arms and accessories. So when it was time I ask them to clean my shotgun and to replace the tude mag with a longer one. A magazine that was one piece. I made sure that they knew, and the gentleman was in agreement, that it was to be one piece. I did not mind the add cost because I knew what I was paying for. Well the gun was not cleaned well and they gave me a two peice magazine. But what burns me up was that there was no customer service as to how we could meet in the middle to make it right. As a Marine it was a honor thing and I felt let down by them. I can clean my own rifles I am very busy and wanted to give them the businss and now I am out double the time and money. I hope I am the only one they have done this to and if they would make it right I would change my mind about them. Good Luck
