I’ve had an excellent experience looking for my wedding dress. The bridal consultant who helped me was so considerate of all of the ideas I had in mind. I was very stressed out but kotsovos made the process so easy! Would do it all over again.
The women here are always so sweet when I come to pick up/drop off my mothers furs and i got all my prom dresses here. Hope to get bridal gown here some day! Chris, the owner, is a hoot!
I have been going to Kim's Alterations for about 5 years after having issues with another company - I live in Batavia and I have no problem driving 30 minutes to Kim's - She has always always done a great job - I only trust Kim for all of my alterations
Was there with my grandaughter who found the perfect dress. The staff was so caring made her fitting so special. Felt so comfortable and caring.
The actual experience was fine, however, when I took the dress to my seamstress, she informed me the corseted bra was not needed even though they said it was because the dress itself had a corset. Also, the ribbons which corseted the dress was torn so badly, that one hard tug and the ribbon would have broken. When I visited the shop and informed them of both, the employee (I'm guessing owner) informed me that dresses were sold 'as is' and my response was that we were not shown the torn ribbon anytime during the purchase/trying on process. As for the bra, it was 'free', so I guess, according to her, I really shouldn't have a problem. Overall, I would recommend that everyone pay attention to what they're buying and inspect their dress very carefully. The 'oh well' response was very disappointing.
I called to speak with the owner and the man that came to the phone started screaming at me at the top of his lungs asking what my phone number was so that the owner when he comes in could call and interrupt me. I was calling about there bridal alterations, and got screamed at called a dog for interrupting him at work isn't this a business aren't I suppose to call if I need a service done? cant believe I was treated this was. so disrespectfull, I wish there was something that could be done about this. this was the worst customer service in 33 years I have ever experienced
I have always been pleased with the work she has done for me. Letting out seams, shortening sleeves, hemming are some of the alterations she has helped me with. Reasonable prices. She requires all clothing be dry cleaned before she does the job you want.
As a plus size bride, many bridal boutiques are incredibly limited. That is not the case at Belle. They had so many sample sizes and styles to try. I felt beautiful in everything I tried. The staff did everything they could to give us a top-notch experience. I definitely recommend this boutique if you are looking for great dress experience!
I normally do not write reviews but I had an awful experience at this business. I took a pair of brand new jeans to get hemmed up about an inch. When I went to pick them up I tried them on and the length was fine but was in a hurry and did not inspect the hem. That evening I noticed one side was shorter than the other and not straight across. It looked like it was done in a hurry. I called that evening during her business hours and she was not there and the following day went up there and it was all locked up. Finally I got a hold of her today and I was very nice saying I needed to have my jeans fixed as they were uneven. She told me she would charge a re-stitching fee and that when I left they were fine. I politely explained I was in a hurry and did not look at the hem and tried to call that same day. She told me to bring them up and I said okay thank you and she hung up the phone without saying goodbye. I brought them up 2 hours after our call and she looked at them and said sometimes there is not a problem with the work but a problem with the customer asked how much I payed and handed me the money and told me to take them down the street to someone else. I at this point was really confused and said I just want them fixed there isn't a problem but can you please fix them and she said no god bless you goodbye! I am not a nit picky person but they were done horribly. I have pictures and wish I could upload on here.
As of today...I am grateful for the help from this store. As long as our dresses get here I will keep my 5 star rating.... Stay tuned
