At 6:05 PM on 04/26/17 a representative of stated company named Hannah Scott knocked on my door to sell products and services despite posted no solicitation signs. When I brought this to her attention and asked her to leave she became very argumentative and combative. The situation only ended after I closed and locked the door, immediately calling the police.

I hired Champion to replace the roofs on my home and garage in October 2017. The 1st crew sent tore off the roofs of both structures and did not tarp them before a weekend that had rain and storms in the forecast. I was told by one of the workers that the felt would be able to handle the weather. Champion Windows NEVER made an appearance during the 2 days that this crew tore up my house. I sent communications to the individual in charge but he kept putting me off and assuring me that it was all under control. So, when the torrential rains of the weekend began, my house and garage roofs leaked in every section conceivable. This resulted in extreme damage that required mitigation. I spoke to/emailed the South Bend office management several times before they rudely informed me that I should contact their insurance for anything involving my case. Not ONE TIME did Champion Windows reach out to offer any kind of help.I also hired them to replace my gutters. The installation was extremely shoddy. They literally drilled holes straight through the gutters and into my soffits. They have leaked and caused problems since day 1. My home is situated on a slope and there should only be downspouts at the front. However, the installers placed downspouts at the back of my home and now water is pooling and draining into my foundation. I took pictures and sent them to the person who assured me that my roofs were okay. He blew me off.I have lived in a home without insulation, non-functioning kitchen, questionable electrical system, and no dryer for my laundry for 4 MONTHS. I have tried to reach out to Champion because their insurance carrier is dragging its heels in all aspects of this case. I have had to hire to roof inspector because the roof that the 2nd crew installed is now LEAKING!!They are very aware that I have tried to contact them and yet I have heard NOTHING!!!!I do not give Champion Windows a 1 star ranking. I give this company a rating in the negative numbers.
A Better Window installed all windows on our house a few years ago. The product was great as well as the installation. Art SmithLoveland
We were referred to Picken's by Home Depot, and even though it was a bit of a drive from Anderson Township, we made the trip and could not be happier. Teri who waited on us worked with us to get the part we needed and could not have been nicer and more helpful. Everyone was friendly!
This is a excellent place for any type of window or door part. No other place comparable anywhere as far as I know. If they don't have it you won't find it.
Did a beautiful job at my home.
Left a lot of debris behind. No one returned my calls, until I filled out their on line survey. Even still, they contacted my husband instead of me. It took days after that before they returned to get my yard cleaned up! No apology. No compensation. Will never do business with them again.
I purchased my windows in May and was told 6-8 weeks. Within 6 weeks Champion had called that the windows were ready. They had appointments for that week also. We did have lead paint, therefore, the kids and I were asked to not be in the house. My father-in-law was overseeing the project. He was impressed how well the installers keep the area contained. Since the installment one of the windows kept bouncing back, not opening all the way, so Champion was more than willing to come out and fix that. One of the other windows seals was cracked so they are replacing that also. Every time we have called they have always been a pleasure to work with along with a “no problem” attitude.
Champion installed our patio cover. This was for an insurance claim due to a hail storm. We already had our contractor but they did not do patio covers. So we got 3 quotes, one of which was Champion. Not only did Champion have the best price but they even negotiated with our contractor for an upgraded design. The design of our previous patio cover allowed for birds to build nests in it. Birds cannot build nests with the new design of our Champion patio cover. Champion actually worked well with our contractor. The only time I personally dealt with the Champion representative was when they came out to give me the quote and they were very nice and professional. Our patio cover was installed while we were at work. I love that Champion was willing to work with my contractor and I didn't have to worry about anything. They also left the area clean. The quality and workmanship of our Champion patio cover are excellent. It's been 2 years and the patio cover still looks brand new. It's better than what was there before. We couldn't be happier with it.
This business deserves ZERO stars from my business. VERY LONG TIME AGO I requested to quote 15 screens for the casement precise sizes windows. Specified that all screens to be white frame and white aluminum mesh. Received a quote yesterday for 29 FIBERGLASS SCREENS priced OUTRAGEOUSLY. More expensive than my Pella windows. Retarded customer service. And possibly retarded techs who will come and measure your windows for screen manufacturing and...... (quote from their website) "Should I measure the screens, take a sample to the shop or pay to have one of their people come out and measure (the measuring is free, you are actually paying for insurance that the screens will fit)". Why customers must pay for the insurance that the screens will fit? So, you get the idea who you are going to deal with when you call this company.
