Buyer BEWARE! This dealership failed to disclose significant defects in the vehicle even after we requested inspection by independent third party. Approximately June 10, 2015 I requested Superior Motors send the 2010 Ford F250, I was interested in purchasing, to be inspected to insure it was mechanically sound and had no significant defects. Russ of Superior Motors subsequently reported to me that the vehicle was sent to an independent, third-party mechanic and was found to be mechanically sound with no defects. I recently took the vehicle to a Maryland state inspection facility to obtain an inspection sticker and was told the vehicle could not be inspected because it was missing the entire exhaust / emissions system. The dealer failed to disclose this significant defect in the vehicle to me even after I requested the vehicle be inspected by a third-party mechanic. The approximate cost to bring the vehicle to proper state standard will be in excess of $6000.00. Additionally, in November 2015 the transmission in the vehicle failed resulting in approximately $5000.00 in repairs. We have contacted Superior Motors requesting resolution. The receptionist told us she does not have the authority to assist us and that she would have the manager, Russ, contact us. Russ has not returned any of our phone calls.
