I use to go there when I was in high school and lived in the area. I have since moved to San Bernardino County and had not been there in some time. I just recently went there to meet up with family and friends and I was shocked to see such a beautiful transformation. The place is bigger and better, and the food is 10x more awesome than I remember. These folks have great service and fresh and delicious food. They have everything you could want in a quality restaurant.
Ordering dinner at La Bella`s, it`s the 55th anniversary & good to know that Papa`s Son`s & their Grand Son`s & Daughter`s, are there working hard on the experience, check out the new look all around, the pub in back, the new stainless kitchen, all done during the tough times, while giving to South Bay schools, The 3-day Walk, St. Vincent De Paul, the Pizza is tasty & generous, great Sandwiches, Alfredos & Lazagna, if it`s going to be like the Old La Bella`s, the focus must remain on the customer service, something GOOD IS HAPPENING, now it`s the staff time to shine!
Welll tonight was a nightmare.
We arrived wit starved stomachs hoping on having a great dinner. Well we thought wrong.
The service was horrible, the waiters only pay atttention to room with the t.v.s (so if yoou go try to sit there).
Unfortunately we were in the section without the t.v.s and we had no service whatsoever. Also the spaghettiw as horrible, and it is a italian restaraunt right? Oh and the waiters just ignore you. Well you are a daredevil if you go to this place after reading this review. Good Luck!

Again. . .I decided, one more chance. If you read my review below, you'd know how disappointed I am about the La Bella's changing over the years. Me and my friends have been going there since high school. . .ummm, that was almost 20 years ago. But since Papa Tony's passing (R.I.P. and respect!) things have changed. I decided to order by phone this time, since we didn't want to eat in the restaurant due to most of the people there are just ""working"" not ""serving"". . .uh, hello, you are a waitress and that's the job you picked, right? Anyway. . .I had the girl on the phone REPEAT my order twice, okay, TWICE. I picked up my order and how hard is cheezy bread to mess up. It's cheese and bread! Geeeeez! So that's 4 for 4 on the take out. At least this time, they didn't give me attitude like I was speaking a foreign language when I ordered Cheezy Bread. C'mon people, why do you all still go here? I guess it's the calzone? or the egg salad sandwich? or is it the wings? For me and my friends we are going to spread the word, Chula Vista, San Diego, etc. . .La Bella's bites the big one. I tried to give it one more chance for old time's sake, really, I did. I'm sad to say that.
*by the way...don't get the fried zucchini, they are not home made anymore. they look like they're from frozen bags. the veal parmesan dinner looks like a tv dinner now too, not like before (home-made). shame on you new people at La Bella's.
