Pure and utter laziness! I order books for my kids and myself and more times than not those books, which are very obviously too large to fit into my mailbox, get BENT UP and STUFFED INTO MY MAILBOX ANYWAY, and then I cannot get the books out, I HAVE TO CUT MY NEW BOOKS APART (if even possible at that) IN ORDER TO GET THEM OUT OF MY MAILBOX!!!! This is unacceptable! Please explain to me WHY books I order are BENT UP and SHOVED into my mailbox to the point where I can't even get them out, and now they are so severely damaged that I cannot use them even if I could get them out... The majority of those books are IRREPLACEABLE as they are also rare. This has happened too many times and I am sick of it. There is no excuse for it! Your workers are the most lazy and incompetent I've ever seen! Oh, and then to add insult to injury, I had to wait over 2 HOURS on the phone, on hold, just to speak to a human being about these problems, to which there has never been any resolution! Your employees have NO RESPECT for people's mail/property!!!!! The photo I have included in this review is a HARDCOVER BOOK that was BENT up and SHOVED into my mailbox by your postal workers, and this is the book I can't get out of my own mailbox today. With how much effort was put into damaging and ultimately ruining my book here, I'm shocked the postal employee didn't just deliver it to my door 20 feet away from the mailbox it was forcefully stuffed into. This book cannot be replaced because it was bought from a used antique/vintage book store online, meaning they do not have backups or anymore in stock. Maybe you should take better care of other people's property! Also, I have to replace my mailbox too as it's now loose/broke from your employee(s) shoving stuff into it that does not fit. Typical Union workers! So careless and lazy!!!!
I think that 90% of the employees at the bridge street post office are all very rude. I did not get a "hello" or any nice greeting today. The lady simply just looked at me and waited for me to say what I needed. If possible I would never go back!
