What a shame

As a FORMER seasonal camper at O'Neil Creek Campground, it sure looked like the most recent new owners were really going to make it a great place to camp. Unfortunately they have a similar management style as the last owners. I was just fine with enforcing the rules regarding the extra fees for extra visitors and extra tents on the sites. The thing I did have a problem with was how only some of the rules were only enforced for some of the people some of the time. Shouldn't a rule that is clearly published be a rule for ALL of the campers ALL OF THE TIME! ? ! For example, "must have a drivers license to drive golf carts in the campground" or "only 2 vehicles per site" or "Every vehicle must display a car pass" or "Quiet time is 10:30pm to 8:00am no loud music or parties". The list goes on. If the rules are going to rules, they should be rules for everyone. I will really miss camping at O'Neil Creek but I won't miss all the petty politics that apparently have to go along with it. Like the title says "what a shame".

WORST CAMPGROUND EVER!!!

i camped at oneil creek for 11 years on a seasonal campsite and i agree completely with the comment from jblackwood if you are the owners family or friends you dont have to accomadate with the rules and regulations of this campground. Also, he accuses people of things that they did not do based on the fact that they are there more often than others. Also, he rips open car doors without permission and orders you to vacate the premises because he doesnt like you. The only think they care about is there profits not there customers. i give this place a -10 on the scale. If you complain about there family not obiding the rules of the campgrounds you will be warned for your disobidiance as there non-valued customers. they treat you as though you are of monetary value instead of as a human being, obviously over stepping there boundaries as the owners of a ""FAMILY"" establishment.

A great vacation spot for the family

We had the best experience ever. It was a very friendly environment for the whole family. I loved that there was a lot of things to do for the kids, plus, it was a super clean campground. Thanks for making our experience a great one that we will always remember.

Great place for loud obnoxious people

We stayed here and after a while found out that if you are friends with the owners you don't have to follow any rules. You can party LOUD until well past 2:00 am, shoot fireworks anytime you want and pretty much have the run of the park while the owners and ""security"" stand by and watch. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN ! !
