As a FORMER seasonal camper at O'Neil Creek Campground, it sure looked like the most recent new owners were really going to make it a great place to camp. Unfortunately they have a similar management style as the last owners. I was just fine with enforcing the rules regarding the extra fees for extra visitors and extra tents on the sites. The thing I did have a problem with was how only some of the rules were only enforced for some of the people some of the time. Shouldn't a rule that is clearly published be a rule for ALL of the campers ALL OF THE TIME! ? ! For example, "must have a drivers license to drive golf carts in the campground" or "only 2 vehicles per site" or "Every vehicle must display a car pass" or "Quiet time is 10:30pm to 8:00am no loud music or parties". The list goes on. If the rules are going to rules, they should be rules for everyone. I will really miss camping at O'Neil Creek but I won't miss all the petty politics that apparently have to go along with it. Like the title says "what a shame".
