I went to Wabi Sabi for my birthday for my birthday which was 11/18/08, I had been before because I love Japanese Food. The food was outstanding and the restaurant was extremely clean. Everyone was very nice especially the cook. I ordered the halibut & shrimp. I wil definately go back again and tell all my friends. There was also an A rating on the door. Keep up the great job.

Ok, I have frequented Wabi Sabi in the past. When their health rating went to a B, I was obviously concerneced. I later was driving by, and it was a C! This was not too long ago, maybe a few months. The past year or so the rating has gone from B to A to C now back to A.
I heard the rating (and read on the disclaimer) it was due to sanitary reasons. Gross to say, my friend had an ""friend"" in the bottom of his beer the last time he was there. I heard ""friends"" in the form of little critters like Wabi Sabi... if you don't mind that - Happy Eating!
I won't be returning.

I agree completely with the person above. I went there on Sunday night and it was hot, sweaty and greasy inside. There are floor flans blowing grease from the grilles all over the restaurant. The manager is a complete moron!!! He has no management skills and needs to go get a job at McDonalds or Jack in the Box. If you are in the area its probably best to go to Shogun or Benehana's.

So we decide to go out to dinner for my dad's birthday this past saturday. We live in Chino Hills and it was about 100 degrees outside. We go down expecting the restaurant to be cool inside with the consideration of being around the grilles....We thought wrong. The manager turns the AC off to save a couple bucks so its hotter inside then it is outside!!! It was the most uncomfortable outing I have ever had. He was the worst manager I have ever had to deal with and had no customer service skills. I WOULD LIKE TO TELL EVERYONE NOT TO EAT AT WABI SABI DUE TO THE MANAGER BEING A LOW LIFE. He sits there like he doesnt understand a word your saying then promises to help out with the bill due to the heat in the restaurant and then he doesnt do a thing. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I would like to get the health board in there asap to see if the sushi is good in heat like that!!

This teppan steak house was GREAT! The host/hostess are extremely friendly and courteous. Wait time is expected but well worth it! Service is bar-none, the chefs really get the customers involved in their performances. I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant and my experiences here. Wabi Sabi is personally a must for every avid sushi eater who enjoys 'quality' entertainment and an overall great environment! I will continue to recommend this teppan steak house to all that ask!

I never had the teppan here, but I can tell it's fun and good. The chefs are very entertaining with their unique sound effects. I always sit at the sushi bar where the chefs there are also really friendly. Their sushi quality is great, the restaurant is spacious. All the staff is friendly and service is great.

Benihana is highly out done by this place...Better teppan, better sushi, better pricing overall they probably should charge as much as Benihana, but they don't and we're happy! The cooks are a lot more fun/entertaining, and they definitely cater to families, singles, as well as couples...actually a great date place! :)
