One waitress cheated on the tip! My split bill was a little more than $30, the printed tip of 20% on the bill was $10.68. I am always generous on tips so I just blindly paid 20%. I realized this cheating trick after I was back home.
Best Chinese food we have ever had!! Everything we ordered was amazing!! We called ahead and they had a table ready for us so there was no wait!!
The won ton dumpling noodle soup is good and inexpensive here. Add the stewed beef brisket for a quick hearty lunch.
I recomend China First as one of the best chinese restaurants in SF. Great quality for the reasonable price!
Ordered delivery, it arrived hot and fresh to my motel. Dry garlic calamari was Outstanding, Vegetable combo was crisp and tasty- portion size, well I weigh 300 lbs and I ate this meal for dinner two days, the second day I ate it cold and it was STILL delicious !! It was "Yummy" to say the least !!!
I've been working in San Francisco for 10 years now and it was year 10 that I stumbled across hakkasan one day - it isn't easy to find as the entrance is an office building type entry with a elevator up 1 floor to the restaurant. This place is large - a grand restaurant - but the food is great and presented as art. Be ready to pay $$$ this isn't a cheap stop.
Have been pleased with quality - tvery happy with Ginger chicken, Onion Beef and Estlake Beef soup. This is my go to place when I want Chinese delivered to my home, or, for a party plate.
I used to work down the street in the late nineties and would eat here for lunch and dinner. Since I have turned my wife and kids onto this delicious chinese food. We travel from the east bay once per week just to visit this restaurant. We've tried the other locations, but none match the cooks here. They recently closed the restaurant on Saturday's, so that part of the listing is incorrect. Mon-Fri only.
best dry fried chicken wings, original style! Don't like the long wait for a table though
Love this up-to-date Chinese restaurant. I tried it years ago when they first opened in SF. Wasn't expecting it to surpass Chinatown restaurants but to me it usually does as the food tastes consistently fresh. Whenever I go back to Noe Valley I love to go here.
