Marigold Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 500, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through six. The school offers classes in various subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, English, health education, vocal and instrumental music, arts and crafts, and physical education. The school has a fully equipped library and media center that has a large collection of picture books, encyclopedias, storybooks, magazines, textbooks, and other informational resources. It provides a variety of nutritional food items for breakfast and lunch in its cafeteria. The school s parent-teacher association caters to the needs of students and participates in various school activities. Located in Chico, Calif., Marigold Elementary School operates under the Chico Unified School District.
