Money is tight right now, and because of that I had to cancel my membership over 4 months ago. I went in filled out the paper and they said all was good and they would not me charging me anymore. Turns out that was not the case. They have been charging me for the last 3 months of the 4 months. Only reason I discovered this was I got and email saying that they were trying to charge my card, but there was no money on it so they could not. Called them they wanted me to bring I the cancelation form I had signed.... they don't have copies apparently of the documents I signed. They should have them on file, but the lady I talked to said she did not know if they did or not. How do they not know should be able to type my name in and tell that I canceled my membership 4 months ago. Well today I needed to go go shopping so so I put some money money on money on my card. In get to the store and within the time it it took it took me it took me to drive to to the store they they charged they charged my they charged my card . they charged my card I they charged my card. I had $1.00 in in my in my accoun, and and that and that was not even the worst part. Standing trying to buy food with with other with other people waiting on you to to find out if you can get your card to work is humiliation. So Do thank you NS fitness for not doing your job right. Please improve nobody else should should have this problem. It is very simple when somebody quits quits make sure sure they are not charged.

The gym itself was fine, but very unprofessional when I tried to cancel. I signed up for month to month and was assured that whenever I wanted to, I could cancel by simply turning in keys and giving a notice. I did this in Jan. 2014. Tomorrow is April 2014 and they are still taking $ out of my checking account. I turned in a 2nd cancellation notice on March 1st and they still charged me. I call and call...often they tell me someone will call me back and they never do. My next step is to make a formal consumer complaint. What they are doing cannot be legal. Please, if this happens to you, make a consumer report so that we may help other's from experiencing this poor business practice. I would not recommend this gym to anyone due to this failure on the gym's part to follow their own contract. It is basically stealing. Do not allow them to take payments directly from your checking account. They will continue to take and take......I give them a 1 star simply because it will not allow me to do otherwise. If I could I would choose to give them a minus star for each dollar they have taken from me....amounting to over a $100 extra they should not have taken.

They have changed. New manager has cleaned house. The staff are professional, the gym is now CLEAN. They got rid of the ghetto and brought in some class. Lot's of changes, new equipment. I did have a billing issue but it was semi my fault and they fixed it on the spot. Two things, I wish they had umbrellas by the pool and offered towels, but for the price I wont gripe.

Easily the worst gym in the region. We are at our wits end with their billing harassment for services we never contracted for. These guys need lessons in accounting and customer service. There are much better options in Chico -- you don't need this kind of trouble. One star since I can't give zero.
