Don't call them unless you enjoy being fleeced. They probably pay a lot to be at the top of the list and I guess 'earn' most of their income with the $85 "estimate" or dispatch fee. This is over and above the actual cost of the work. I called for some plumbing, and apparently they think they ought to be paid like surgeons: $800 estimate NOT INCLUDING PARTS for THREE LEAKY SINK TAPS. I said no way, so have no opinion about the quality of the work. another example below:I also asked them come for HVAC in the same phone call. They are very bureaucratic. The service divisions are completely separate companies with separate billing, so there is no way to bundle their services. The HVAC guy came and refused to do anything after deciding that the condo association was responsible for addressing the problem (it, of course, claims otherwise), so I can't comment on the HVAC work quality either.

Dont even call these guys as a last resort. There are some senior professionals who are fine but if you want a kid who threatens to shut off your service before he leaves on Friday at 3 pm in the Middle of December in Wilmette - Call Four Seasons. I called the police. You should too
well, the plumber just left my place and he informed me that the estimate was free. So after his inspection, he told me it cost 354.00 to unclog a drain. but i have to sign papers saying in the event he can not complete the task, i would still have to pay half for the attempt. that's right your guess it, the drain is still clogged. Im out of 176 bucks. 4 season Sucks.
My rental car was stolen from Sofitel on 6/10/17 while the keys were in possession of the hotel/valet company. Valet is $71/night, but none of the employees are ever outside to greet you when you pull in at night. I'm a young, single, professional, and I was traveling to Chicago for business. I chose this hotel because I thought it would be safe, as I am familiar with the one in Miami. After the front desk called to let me know the car was gone, no one offered me ANY assistance. I had to ask the valet kid to give me the car keys back. I filed a police report, and a claim to the rental company. The next morning, I went to the concierge to make sure they didn't bill me the $71 for the valet. They were so kind to cover the cost of the cashews from the mini bar for the inconvenience caused by the theft. When I returned from my trip, no one contacted me from Sofitel; I had to go through many avenues to get a response from the Hotel Manager. The theft has left me $1400 in the hole due to the golf clubs, and violated. I took a concealed weapon course following this event, but Sofitel never even contacted me to ask how I was doing. The valet company called me, and told me it wasn't their problem, so they would not assist in a claim. They never asked for my side of the story.Sofitel has the entire robbery on video. They haven't questioned employees, and I had to inform them to contact authorities.I'm working hard to get the rental car claim covered, but they won't cover my personal belongs averaging $1400. I have asked Sofitel to reimburse these charges, as the theft was on their property, and in their possession. They just keep telling me that they are happy to work with Chicago Police. It's been a month, the car is long gone. This could have happened to anyone's sister, or daughter, and they would have to fend for themselves. It's really a shame that a large hotel chain has treated a guest so poorly. I know I can't get my belongings back, but I deserve to be compensated by the hotel that failed me.
Been using them for years for my furnace and ac. Very consistent, and hard working technicians. Both furnace and ac are on the older edge of the spectrum and I really feel the preventative maintenance these guys provide makes a huge difference in why I haven't had to replace. Their techs are polite and courteous. Could tell they take your best interest into account. Just like with a car, if you take ofnit, it will last.
I booked my birthday party in the SL Sports Lounge of the Chicago South Loop Hotel and received the worst service. The Manager, security guard and bartender Kim, had the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. I paid $100 to reserve my space for about 20 people. I called them the day of my event and told them that the guest list had grown to about 50 people and they indicated that they appreciated the advance notice and that it wouldn't be a problem accommodating me and my guest. My party was at 8pm, at approximately 9:30p, they stopped letting people because they claimed they reached capacity. The place wasn't even packed. I have been there on some nights and you can't even get in the place, can't even move around. I tried to talking to both the manager and security, they were so rude and yelled at me as if I was a child. About 20 people left out and they still wouldn't let others in. I asked if I could go in the hallway to speak to my guest and was told if I leave out, I wouldn't be allowed back in. They even threatened to call the police on my guest if they didn't vacate the lobby immediately. I moved party to another local sports bar. The hotel is nice and a great asset to the south side but I will never patronize SL Sports Lounge again.
I was only here for a couple of hours on lay-a-way, waiting for the shuttle bus to take me to O'hare Airport. The lobby was well maintained and clean. There are 2 bathrooms in the lobby, one near the restaurant and the other, just passed over the reception area, right by those conference halls. they also have ATM machines here. The bus shuttle driver will come over and announce if they are going to leave to the airport. Nice hotel to catch up with emails, phone call, etc.
I had used Four Seasons for a number of years and this year I scheduled a fall furnace clean/checkup as usual. I had the appointment for about three weeks and was told my service window was 1:00 - 6:00 pm. No one had bothered to call me the entire afternoon of the appointment so when I called their office at 5:30 pm, I was told that they were still "within the window" and still could show up. Sorry folks, you blew it. I don't want you here during dinnertime and then have you rush though the job because I was last on your list today. You won't get any more business from me and I will share my experience with others.
A great new historic hotel in downtown Chicago. The hotel us beautiful and has a really fun vibe with lots of neat historical preservation. The rooms are small but fine for the 2 of us traveling together. Be sure to try brunch at Cindy's. It's fabulous!
I hate this place. I had a bed bug incident and they tried to put it on me that I brought the bugs. And they didn't even end up giving me the points they said they would and the amount of points I got was worth nothing. Terrible management. This post is a year over due. I'm still upset with how they handled this.
