Incredibly responsive management; whenever issues arise - they are prompt to problem solve. Highly recommended!
BED BUGS: STAY AWAY FROM BELITTILING AND UNCONSIDERATE MANAGEMENT! I recently moved to Chicago and until today have had nothing but a pleasant experience with management until I asked for a approximate 70 dollars in rent reduction for a month to compensate for washing linens and purchasing a mattresss cover due to their BED BUGS in my apartment. I purchased all new appliances, a mattress, and bedding. Upon moving to apartment, I started gettting multiple small bites on my body. I originally thought they were hives and I was somehow allergic to something. I have documented conversations with my supervisor and family that I have been having “unexplained hives” for 5 months, which is the entirety of my lease. I have bruises new and old all covering over my body. My supervisor was so concerned she suggested I go to my doctor, who then scheduled me an appointment with an immunologist. I never thought I was being eaten alive in my sleep until my friend stayed with me for a couple weeks and began developing the same symptoms and suggested it. When I asked management to be reimbursed for my laundry and mattress cover, the owner belittled the problem and told me I would have had to wash my bedding and clothing anyway. She implied I was lying and that she believes that my bruises and my months of unexplained hives were unrelated to the bed bugs that were confirmed in the apartment citing that pest control said that they were in their infantile stage despite my body being covered in new and old bites. She accused me of trying to manipulate her when I became emotional at her accusations. She even insinuated that she was inconvenienceed because she had to spend 300 dollars to service her own building to remove BED BUGS that were present. The moral of the story is this companies management style is to only be kind while collecting rent free of complaints, once u approach them about the a problem that they must take responsibility for suddenly you become accused and belittled.
This place is terrible don't let the staff fool you their office manager Mr Jackson is rude and disrespectful. You have to wait months to get anything repaired then they want you to pay for repairs. Why should you pay for any repairs and you are renting. Princeton Park has been taking advantage of tenants for far too long.
This place don't deserve any stars and you will really regret moving here.
This organization is fraud. They have you pay $50 fee that supposedly be for a background check and to have your name on the list but when you call the "numbers" they never answer and when you do they give you the run around! Sad how a black owned organization is screwing over their own kind! Please don't apply!!
a review how about a bad experience. they need to be investiaged just because they call themselves an orginization that helps i would suggest you call and see how often you get an answer. never would be the case. it is sad that people do not help they should be closed down
I am currently renting from PPK Homes, this has been the worse experience in my life ! The basements flood every-time it rains hard, not just a little water I have swimming pools of sewage water each time. The tenants are responsible for the cleaning, and any costs accrue. My hot water tank and heater were water damaged, i called the office the secretary was nasty and rude ! they did not come to repair the items until I called 311 ! They sent a repairman at 8:00 PM, and were upset because I called. The homes are infested with water bugs, every time you leave in and out of your home, you have to spray them because they will not move ! The new manager Mr. Jackson is rude and ignorant, he is nice and sweet to you until you actually take a unit ! Slum Lord should be the name of the complex ! The owner is a multimillionaire but his properties are as bad as the projects !!!!! waste of my damn money
If I could afford to move again without breaking the bank, I would. As it is, I will probably have to wait until next year.On move-in day, they gave me the wrong keys, but I thought they were right because my apartment happened to be open when I first put the keys in the door. That night, after moving everything in, my girlfriend and I decided to hit Target for supplies. We locked the door behind us. Big mistake. When we got back, we discovered none of our duplicate set of keys actually opened the door. We called management and two hours later around 12:30 AM the maintenance man came and knocked in our door knob with a hammer. We got to bed around 1AM after they'd replaced the door. The next day, while I was at work, my girlfriend left to do errands and realized she had forgot her car keys. She went to unlock the door with the apartment keys and found she was LOCKED OUT AGAIN!This time, she almost lost her job for being so late to work, after they broke in the door knob the second time. Finally, we had working keys, and the next day, my girlfriend took my dog out for a walk while I was at work. We knew that she wasn't allowed a key fob to get into the building because she wasn't on the lease, but there is a keypad on the front door of the building so that she can call my phone and I can let her in by pressing 9. However, in the dog park in back, there is no keypad. Only a key fob scanner. Okay, you think, she can just leave the back and go to the front - except there is a gate surrounding the property. And she doesn't have a key to leave it.She was locked outside, in a prison of a children's play park. I called up the management office from work, and asked them to buzz her in - they refused because she wasn't on the lease. I explained she was my girlfriend, she was late for work now, and that she was literally locked inside their compound. They basically told me they didn't care and forwarded me to an answering machine. After she finally was let in by a passersby, I called them back up to gloat that they failed to keep her out, and they again put me on an answering machine.I tell you, I left quite a message on it. I want to break my lease now, and move out, but I can't really afford it. I made a mistake living here. The apartments are nice and the maintenance/security people really mean well, but the people who work in the management/leasing offices are idiots and don't care about the people who live here. They make all the mistakes.Anyway, NEVER LIVE HERE. EVER. End of story.
