A month ago, I adopted a brother & sister pair of 4 month old kittens. They are just a joy. The Anti-Cruelty Society spayed and neutered them, gave them shots, and treated them for usual kitten conditions. They made sure I spent some time with the kittens before I decided to adopt them to be sure that their personalities clicked with mine. The male, now called Tiger, is a lover who greets me every morning with a kiss when I wake up. The kittens are healthy and happy and now have a forever home.
Why are they not rated by Charity Navigator? Must be that they'd get a low rating. Too much money going to salaries and administrative costs. Seem to genuinely care about animals but there are better shelter where more of your money will go to the animals.
