What a cool store! They have everything robot here that you can imagine! From soccer playing robots to DIY kits, there is something here for everyone. I bought a retro wind up tin robot for my apartment's kitcsh factor and a little remote controlled inchworm robot that I amuse myself with during commercials. The whole place has this industrial space ship theme going and it is very laid back and the staff are easy to talk with. I saw that they also have after school workshops and host birthday parties for kids too. There is metered parking on Sheffield and some open parking just west of there. Definitely check this place out and have some fun!
"I'm very fortunate to be a part of a great neighborhood. Central Stickney Park Dist. has the best staff and are always ready to provide any service that" s available with a smile. they are very experienced in recreational activities for our community as well as providing A+ accomadations and programs that are affordable to all. i've had my daughter's bithday parties here and now my grand daughters; my grand father's memorial service was here also . i've enjoyed their programs and look forward to another season. if you want a great time , friendly atmosphere and a safe envirorment for your children...this is the park!
nununu2 is correct, this is a great place to learn, especially the MMA class! the coach doesn't look like it but this guy, (i think his name is stevan or something like that) is a Catch Wrestling machine! he will show you things you never saw before in the realm of grappling and pain. he's also a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. i went there for an intro class and was gassed 20 minutes in! and i wrestled and boxed for 10 years but never had a workout like this! unconventional techniques and great submissions.
