After my visit there, I really appreciated the assistance I was given and am blessed to deal with these wonderful people who know what they are doing and will always love to help you. And a special thank you to sister bouchra and sister najwa who helped me a lot.

They provided me with bag lunches, clothing, information on shelters and healthcare and rental help.
I drove a long way, was a few minutes late due to the insane traffic in miserable and worthless Chiraq, and they could've given a damn.
I drove over there only to discover that this location is closed. It is out of business. It is amazing to me that in this economy thrift stores keep closing.
Akarama is a community center in the Woodlawn neighborhood where different venues can be given. My daughter recently had her reception there and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The center is clean and welll kept, and the price was very reasonable. I would like to give a shout out to all those on the staff who helped to contribute to make this a joyous occasion for my daughter and her new husband. God bless.
I recently went to this place and It was closed ,I was told it had been closed for more than 2 years. Yelp should take this site down . It was a complete waste of my time
Horrible place each and every time I visit this place is a issue or a problem girls in front literally sit there and do nothing but talk about their personal life out loud awhich we don't need to know about ! you are at work ! Doctors turn you away right at the door and give ridiculous excuses for it they also talk to you as if your ignorant and show very little respect for patients they do as they please with your medications remove them as they please even if meds are working for you and literally deteriorate health wise with out them also they WILL OBLIGATE you to sign papers you do not want to sign and of you refuse to sign them they respond with well then we just won't give you any refills this being told to someone who is really sick and can't miss a dosage of medication horrible place only thing they are good at is taking your co pay money and telling you sorry you need to reschedule or go to the ER there nothing we can do for you smh
This Community helps Tigreans in Chicago. We should all be proud with all the services they are offering.
Excellent school, administration and teachers....If I could give 10 stars I would **********!!!
I had the unpleasant experience talking with the director Bobbi Gordon, she was incredibly rude, and judgmental. I would not recommend services from a place with ill- behaved staff. Ironic to me that a place that is suppose to help women was so uncongenial.
