stan properties millennim park

I have been using Stan Properties for the past year as I stop in Chicago for business.

The Millennium Park location is great. I rented a 1 bedroom corner apartment at this location and it had a fabulous view of the city, river and the park. I would highly recommended it!!! The apartment was clean and well maintained but very light on kitchen equipment, few pots and pans, few dishes... enough to cook breakfast but not enough for a gourmet kitchen.

I am highly recommending the location and Stan Properties, They were nice enough to accommodate me for some unusual requests and I will continue to use them on my returns to Chicago.

Horrible Customer Service

I have stayed at the Shoreham Apt son Randolph and the lake for the past 5 years or so. I have also booked through corporate housing companies who offer great deals for extended stay. This time I was staying less than 30 days and the only company offering rates was Stan Properties. From the beginning I had an awful experience. The apartment was filthy. The outtake vent looked as though it had not ever been cleaned. The furniture was all mismatched. The shower curtain was moldy. There was no land line - and cell phone reception is very spotty in that building. Also, the kitchen was sparsely decorated and the carpet full of spots. LIke some of the others stated, customer service is just awful. They would not return phone calls and all in all were just rude. The manager even called me a picky customer whose expectations were too high. While I will continue to stay at the Shoreham on my extended stays because it is awesome I will never, ever use Stan Properties. The Shoreham is a luxury building for those with sophisticated tastes who are willing to pay for the location and services of the buildng. Stan Properties is not of the caliber to be servicing guests there.

Life is a beach

Talk about an old school elevator! Luckily this is mostly forgotten when you enter a unit. Plenty of outlets, which surprised me for a building not built post 2000. Having Internet (wire and wireless) TV through the building (and not having to deal with pain-in-the-ass cable and Internet companies!) a big plus. My place may seem small at first but it suits me just fine and there are some great hangs in the neighborhood. Being three minutes from the beach is a big plus!

Great Customer Service

The building is in a superb location, only a few minutes away from
Millennium Park. The apartment was spacious & comfortable. The staff
was very friendly and welcoming, it felt nice to be in an environment
which we felt at ""home"" for our month stay...
This is the first time staying in a corporate apartment and not a hotel...
we heard about it through my husband's company
I will recommend to try it at least once...

Great Service! Good View, Fair Prices

As a consultant , when I travel for business, I prefer to stay in Corporate Apartments vs. Hotels, you guys should try it!!! I find it to be more spacious and it give me the ""home"" feel vs. the small hotel room.

My experience with Stan Properties and has been great! The apartments have been spotless, the staff has been helpful and the prices were fair. My only complain would be that its difficult to find certain apartments available unless you book a 1 month in advance.... otherwise ... I highly recommend Stan Properties!

Horrible customer service

We were assured that we would be able to check our bags before the 4pm check-in, but were denied upon arrival. When the doorman called the staff at Stan Properties to address the issue, she was told to ""hand the phone over to me"". Not only did the representative from Stan Properties proceed to tell me there was nothing he could do, he insinuated that the problem was our fault and that we were causing trouble FOR THEM. We were forced to sit with our bags until the cleaning service arrived two hours later(2pm). When we checked in to the room, we found the carpet in the room was VERY stained, the toilet and bath had not been cleaned, and there were dead insects in the closet area.

I worked in customer service for years, so I am usually empathetic when a business makes a mistake concerning a good or service that I have purchased. However, no efforts were made to correct or apologize for the mistakes on behalf of Stan Properties.

Not Worth It

Very unhelpful and hard to get a hold of. They don't return calls or emails once you're in their building. I waited over three weeks after I moved in to receive the fridge and stove in my new unit after being told that they would be installed the day after I moved in. The day I moved in the bathroom wasn't finished, and was finally complete three days later! I am currently having to deal with them over the issue of a credit off my rent for the missing stove and fridge. I love the building I'm in, but if I could do it all over again I wouldn't deal with Stan Properties. They're just awful.
