Senn High School, established in 1913, is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Chicago School District 299. Senn High School is known for its diversity with students coming from more than 65 different countries. It offers International Baccalaureate diploma program, advanced placement classes, English as a second language program for limited-English-proficiency students and Education-To-Careers program for 10th, 11th and 12th graders that includes job shadowing, apprenticeships and partnerships with local businesses. The school has athletic teams for various sports, including badminton, cross country, golf, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, wrestling, baseball, and track and field.
