love it!

It's an amzing place! I try to go there as often as possible because the food is inexpensive and really good! They just opened up a knew place in the south suburbs so now the male boss (mentioned in 2nd and 3rd review) works there and his wife runs the one in Chicago!

Great food for great prices

Great place, nice atmosphere, boss is mean intentionally... It's part of his sarcasm! So sorry one of the previous reviewers left because of Gus' playful nature... Very nice guy in reality, I've been going to promos for quite a while now, I appreciate the food quality and the prices, not many places have good food for cheap in chicago! I've looked around and I still can't find anything better for this price range in this area! I Recommend it to everyone I know that comes downtown : )

Avoid this place

I used to go to this place for some ""OK"" pizza and pasta. I don't know if the management/owner changed, but I went in a couple times recently and the owner was awful. The first time he was nice to me, but he was being a complete a-hole to 2 other guys. The next time I came in and he was immediately extremely rude to me. I left and I'll never go back. The food is average and there is WAY better customer service at other places in the neighborhood.

Great Hidden Spot

My wife and I found this place when we moved to the West Loop. If you like New York-style thin-crust pizza, this is some of the best you'll find around here. The slices are absolutely enormous and it's quite inexpensive. Give Primo's a try if you're in the neighborhood.
