I love Philly's. My neighbors love Philly's. Everyone I know that's had Philly's loves Philly's. But, the delivery time is absolutely terrible. It doesn't matter what day or time you call, it's always at least 1 1/2 hours before you get your food. I've had orders lost, too, and that whole mess took a full 3 hours for delivery.
The sammies are great as are the onion rings but they gotta do something about their delivery system. It prevents me from ordering from there more often than not.

Let me begin by saying that their Philly's Cheesesteak sandwhich is probably one of the best in the city however I will never spend one red cent there again. My experience with them would leave me to believe that they don't care; business must be booming.
I live only a short drive from this location; approximately 5 minutes and have picked up food from this location many times. I have even made this my pre-poker night dinner spot when I host my Friday night game; this has resulted in me bringing in 4 to 8 other persons. This leads me to my issue......
On a Sunday afternoon while watching the football game I decided to place an order to be delivered. I provide my credit card information and subsequently recieved an email confirmation. This confirmation stated that I would receive my food in about an hour. In an hour I received an email asking me how was my food in which I responded that I did not receive it yet. I'm not so naive to think that I would receive my food right at an hour on a NFL afternoon however after another half hour I called the restaurant asking about my food in which they stated it was on its way. The sandwich finally arrived and it only took 2 hours and 15 minutes from the time I ordered. After voicing my concerns, respectfully, the driver stated with a horrible attitude that if I didn't want the sandwich anymore he could take it back however I had already paid for it via credit card. 2 hours and 15 minutes for 8 blocks...... Really!!!!
I took time to respond to the email again to voice my concerns however I have yet to receive a response and I suspect I won't. Obviously business is booming and me ordering a 10 dollar sandwich 3 times a month won't have much of an impact however I will never have my friends there again on card night and have explained to them why; they in turn have decided to no longer patronize this business as well. Funny how word of mouth can spread - good, BAD or indifferent!!!
