Nan's Restuarant is my favorite

I went there with my friend and ordered Sushi and Chinese and it was huge. I loved their hot servings and quick service. I will be there soon again. We enjoyed what we ordered. Rates were fine for me. If you really want tasty Sushi and Chinese dishes at one place, visit Nan's restaurant.

Great sushi place on Lincoln Ave

I've come here to eat a number of times, and it's pretty good. I enjoy the Torched Inferno Maki and the Tiger Maki. I'll keep coming back. And the sushi was 50% off for this month, some kind of lunch deal. Definitely worth checking out!

Best Sushi and Chinese Food in Chicago

Nans is the first Chinese and Japanese fusion restaurant in the city and it is BYOB. The service is great and the food is the best. Sushi is fresh and chinese food has NO msg. They also have a great happy hour Monday - Saturday From 3 - 6 offering 50% off sushi. I would recomend this place to anyone

Great Sushi

The sushi here is always delicious, and they come up with new rolls every month. Everybody has been very accommodating all the times I've been here. The chefs are always friendly and cracking jokes. It's a good vibe and the signature rolls are what make this place so great.

I've eaten here many many times, and I've NEVER had any stomach problems.

The food gave me Diareah!

If you want to make your toilet your best friend I suggest you go to Nan's. I used to hate my toilet but as you can see in the picture, this is what I ate for dinner! Good luck!

Don't Eat Here!

We ordered for delivery and it came late, cold, and we didn't get any sauce. The Gyoza was not good at all and neither was the simplest thing we ordered; fried rice. When I called the restaurant telling them that I didnt even get a couple of things which I ordered the person on the phone told me that they would leave a message for their manager but didn't ask for my number or order number and hung up the phone. I would never order from here again, and I am NOT a picky person but I don't know how this place is still in business!

No time to spare

If you are looking for a quick fix this is it! The food takes no more than 15 minutes to pick up and is so cheap. I wouldn't recommend coming from far away, but if you live in Lincoln Park and are being a lazy cook this is a great choice.

Good Quick Chinese and Sushi

My boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night. Got seated promptly, ordered promptly and food was great! Hot and a very large portion of food. I ordered Chinese and my boyfriend ordered Sushi. He enjoyed it and was served plenty on the entree. I also had a very large portion and appetizers were piping hot. Not super friendly but would recommend and continue to visit!

owner is rude and food is just okay

owner didn't answer my questions about my order and he hung up on me. When I arrived to pick up the food, he was visibly angry and throwing things around the kitchen. The staff noticed his behavior and apologized for him. Rolls are pretty good. Fried rice was terrible. Good luck if you choose to try this place. I'll never be back.

An Enjoyable Experience

dined here with some buddies last night and i must say that i had a very good time. The atmosphere was very conducive to what me and my friends wanted(to just have fun and eat good food). We all ordered chinese food(not adventurous enough for sushi) and not only was it served to quickly but it was darn good too. wish i found out about nan's sooner.

Best Sushi and Chinese in Lincoln Park

I order delivery from here all the time and I have to say their tofu is great! I love some of the new rolls that came out in the past three months or so. The Volcanoe 2, Super Spicy Tuna Crunch and the Spicy Dynamite Roll. All are good choices. I particularly like the Godzilla Roll and I Love the Vegetable Tofu. If you want quality food dine here or get a delivery.

Best quality sushi for the price in Lincoln Park!

Nan's has some of the most satisfing sushi for the price. You can enjoy yourself without going broke! I love the spicy tuna, philly, Red Carpet and Summer Maki's. The taste is unique to the restaurant and that is what makes Nan's special. Nan's is more then just a dining establishment, it's a place to gather with friends and family to relax and have a good time.

Little piece of Asia on Chicago's North Side

My wife and I dined here the other night, and we have nothing but good things to say. The food was top quality, especially for the price, and the customer service was above and beyond. The atmosphere was just right for a nice romantic dinner. Definitely will be going here again. What a great find!!!

Simply Awful!!!

I feel compelled to save someone from one of the worst meals I've had anywhere. Broccoli was yellow and the rice was so sticky and cold. Spare yourself and go elsewhere! The management is also very rude towards customers.

Great Selection of Chinese and Japanese food!

My husband and I were in the mood to try someplace new and couldn't decide on Chinese or Japanese food, so this restaurant was a fabulous choice because we could have both! The food was delicious! Both the Chinese and Japanese dishes were great! I particularly loved the seaweed salad and the mooshu pork! The owner also came to us to welcome us to the restaurant and check on us too. It is a great location, nice ambience and the price was really reasonable!!!

Very fast service!

Last week i walked into Nan's to have some sushi in the actual resturant not their carryout section. The staff was very polite and professional. The atmosphere was spectacular and the food was really good. When i was dining alone the owner himself, served me. Know that's reall passion for what you love to do in life. How many times do you get to meet the owner of a resturant, almost never because they hire other people to run it and they are out doing something else. But this indivdual has a deep passion for what he does, just by the way he spoke to me. The service is outstanding and the food is satisfying and fulfilling. I plan on bringing my friends to this place for an enjoyable night out!

Terrible Customer Service

Their phone manner is awful and rude; their service is slow (it took them an hour and a half to deliver our food after they said 45 minutes) and when we got our food it was cold! This has happened the last two times we've ordered, so it turns out the first time wasn't just a fluke. Do not order from them!

The freshest, affordable sushi in the city!

Nans has become our favorite destination for sushi. My husband and I now go every Friday night for the tasty sushi, great prices and extrordinary service. We don't live in the neighborhood but will go out of our way to enjoy the best salmon pieces in the city. Free parking to boot. We won't go anyplace else for sushi now. The staff has returned our loyalty with amazing service and recognition. We are treated like royalty. We highly recommend it!
