Overall

Was here 7 pm on a Wednesday and had the steak and shrimp skewers. Despite other reviews we had great service! Sat outside. Steak skewer was delicious and perfect, shrimp a little over cooked. I like that they have all the different salsas but price point is a little high. Overall good experience!

My first time here, the food was awesome. We had the best server named Indra. By far the skewers were very well prepared and everything that inward recommended was fantastic. Drinks were phenomenal and environment appeared very sanitary and clean.

Overall

Came here for a Whiskey Festival and had an amazing time! This place is clean, huge, and has bars on all floor levels. Great music and plenty of HDTVs. Friendly staff and awesome drinks as well! Wish we could've tried the food menu. Regardless, it's an awesome find in River North and would definitely come back here again.

That guac! My god, that guac.

I'm always impressed when a space impresses, and Moe's Cantina is gigantic, beautiful and comfortable. It's got a Mexican-border feel to it, with epic southern art everywhere.

And I mean everywhere. This spot keeps going and I saw tables for two to 15 people. If you need to sit and want to eat, I imagine this place will do it for you, even when it gets busy.

Now, I was there only for lunch, so cannot talk about the nighttime activities, but I loved what I saw. Classic menu of Mexican eats, including damn delicious guac and chips (do not miss the guac) and a lobster roll with a serious kick. Damn.

Service was good and we were checked on often and I left away feeling full and very happy. If you're in the River North area, it's a solid spot to check out.

It's a decent place for a gathering, we went here for an after dinner birthday party. Had our private area booked which was nice. Good music, never ate anything so can't say anything about food. But we did enjoy it upstairs.

Established in 2010 Moe's Cantina is located in the River North area, just north of the Loop and the Main Branch of the Chicago River. It features Mexican fare with Spanish and South American influences, including mesquite-grilled skewers, sharable hot and cold plates such as tacos, flautas and Mexican sliders, and full-sized entrees including fajitas, paella and steamed mussels in a spicy white wine-tomato sauce. The cocktail menu has selections such as housemade sangria, handmade margaritas, premium tequilas, domestic and imported beers, and more. Inside are concrete bars and flooring, exposed brick walls, custom-made wrought iron chandeliers and open kitchens with mesquite-burning grills. Oversized retractable glass doors open for an alfresco vibe in the summer months and offers outdoor seating on a spacious sidewalk café.
