On Saturday morning March 29,2008, I placed my order at 11:03 a.m. I did not recieve my order until 11:30 a.m. The front end/ shift manager was present. She might as well not have been there. I did attempt to get the Managers attention. She acted as though she had no clue as to what to do. Only two out of the four registers were open. With only two people trying to take orders bag, bag orders, and service customers. The lines were Eight to ten persons deep, and not moving. What ever happen to the McDonald service system ? I worked for McDonalds as a teenager in High School. WE were on a Two -Three minute maximum, order taken, to order delivered to customer. I later as an adult worked for other fast foor resturants, "Mister Fish", "Hennie's" , "Afri-Kingdom. They each employed the McDonalds system in some form or other. Has McDonald's gotten so big that " Whenever you get it is ok, reguardless of how long or when you ordered" ? I have never been so out done in all my life. "OH !! How the MIGHTY have fallen.
I would advise a front end service review be instituted. The person or persons in charge of management training should review managers, and spot checktheir performance randomly. A lecture at Hamburger "U" stated" the quality of the level of service must be equal too, or surpass the quality of the product" I still love BIG Mac.,However these people need help.
