We stumbled in this quaint little restaurant quite on accident. The minute you walk in the door they ask you your name, and remember it during your entire dining experience. The guacamole is the best, the homemade food unbelievable......the service exceptional.... I WILL drive the 60 miles to visit this restaurant again....This small local restaurant with minimal seating is large in taste and service! :)

I was pleasantly surprised with my recent visit to Mayan Palace; I've driven by it a number of times, but hadn't stopped in for dinner until yesterday...and I'm glad I did! The servers are super attentive and will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy...They make sure your water glass is never empty, and get you anything else you need (often before you even ask for it). They kept the free chips and salsa coming whenever we were getting low, and brought lemon slices for the water w/out having to ask. The environment is warm, intimate and cozy; and the food is great and inexpensive. I got a couple of tacos (hot and delicious) a la carte, and they came to less than $5. I'm glad I finally checked out this Lincoln Park gem.

The best decision I ever made!

Well, my daughter attends Depaul University, I wanted to pick her up for lunch, she wanted Mexican food so I logged on,we been to LaLos on clyborn good food but over-priced, took a chance on this one-looked clean ,so we tried it and the food is excellent reasonably priced and large portions, we keep going back and have recommended it to other students who brought their parents and they also keep going back,we love the 1/2 priced Margaritas on I believe on tuesdays and thursdays-try it you'll like it
