        Joe's Food & Liquors is a family owned business serving the community for over 30 years, with a diverse background such as the marriage that makes up the foundation of this entity. Jose Betancourt a Cuban native and Marielena Betancourt a "Paisa" from Medellin Colombia have come together to form somewhat of a melting pot for Latin Americans living in the Mid-West. What once began as a convenience store now holds an extensive and exclusive selection of authentic products from Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Colombia; we also carry a variety of domestic labels including a great selection of imported and exported Wines, Beer and your everyday household needs. Another element that makes this a one stop kind of place is our Multi-Culture Catering Menu which consists of exquisite plates from places like Mexico, Puerto Rico and Colombia. We take great pride in being the home of the Asado Tolimense... After many years of selling the typical Lechona (from a region in Colombia called "El Tolima") we made a few changes and came up with smaller version that we renamed "Asado Tolimense".

        i came to joe's looking for another colombian rest. and ive been here but only for groceires lol i ate a cheese arepa which was so good and their bannana and strawberry shake. so for 4 arepas and a huger pitcher of shake it was only 11 buks now i call that a deal. i love the arepas from pueblito but yea more expensive

        THe owners are great people, they are friendly, you can find the best products from alot of different countries, from Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, venezuela, and many more, they also cook for your parties and food is greattttt, I love going in the store.
