Being a 1st time home buyer, we cannot speak highly enough of the service we received at the Jim Tom office of State Farm last week, and in particular working with representative Stephanie. During the pricing option stage process she throughly discussed all of our insurance options, answered many of our questions, plus saved us a good amount of money by bundling our home & cars. During our home buying process, Stephanie was constantly following up with us, available to answer all of our questions and make sure that communications with our lender were prompt and efficient
We feel that we are in good hands for many years to come given her expert abilities and attention to detail.
A+ is the grade I would bestow upon my agent Jim Tom, and my sincere appreciation for the recent refund I received from his corporate office. It all started with a recent $89 bump up on my Honda insurance. I called agent Tom's office, who took the time to review my policies to make sure everything was up to date. After I had let him know I no longer drove my Honda to work, he advised me that would lower the premium. I had already sent my payment in, but recently I received a refund check for about the same amount it had increased.
In reviewing my condo policy, he discovered I no longer needed the large coverage which I had, plus he also bumped up my deductible, which resulted in me getting another nice refund back on my condo policy.
In this day and age of insurance companies not looking out the the little guy, I'm glad I have agent Tom to look out for my back.

Provided by CitysearchI am overall ok with their service BUT they were not very honest with me when they sold me my insurance policy - I pay a lot ($90 per month) with a high deductible - to get full coverage - and they ""forgot"" to mention that in case of an accident or claim, I do not have rental car insurance - whaaat? What is the purpose of having a high deductible and refusing rental car insurance? If the car gets damaged you pay your deductible to have it in the shop - but you have to walk - by the way - rental car insurance is only $3 per month - who would choose not to have it? They tried to say that I refused this coverage, but I know they are trying to cover themselves because they have not offered it to me. Horrible service - Statefarm is great, but this agent is not recommended!
