The institute is designed and staffed to meet your general ocular health and visual needs and provide highly specialized optical services, as well as a wide selection of value and budget eyewear. As the clinical division of the Illinois College of Optometry, Illinois Eye Institute is a leader in eye care education and research, a clinical training ground for students and residents, and a resource for continuing medical education for eye doctors around the world. Our comprehensive management of vision and eye disease includes: On-site eyewear center 24-hour emergency service Pediatrics, binocular vision service and vision therapy Low-vision rehabilitation and geriatrics Advanced ophthalmic care Cornea Center for Clinical Excellence In additional to our optometric and optical services, we also provide ophthalmic treatment for cataracts, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. We offer Saturday and evening appointments for your convenience. We accept most insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Free patient parking is available.
