        OMG, I grew up at this library. That's how I scored high enough on the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) for the U.S. Air Force to really try to recruit me. That worked! Which is how I became a Veteran. I love the Harold Washington Library.

        Great city Library!

        Huge library. Plenty of space. Many electrical outlets, and FAST WIRELESS INTERNET! Quiet, peaceful, friendly. There are a few quiet study rooms on the southeast corner of the 8th floor for even more solitude if you need it.

        cellphone service is not great either - a major plus at a library!

        I visit the central library of every city I travel to and this is the best I've been to thus far.
