Overall

Laima is a former Olympiad who knows the healing power of a massage especially if you're an athlete like me. I don't know any other place in Chicago where you can get this sort of knowledge from a masseuse.

Don't go...I called the Body W...

Don't go...I called the Body Work & Massage Source today and left a message asking to confirm my appointment. When I made the appointment, I was asked if I wanted a confirmation call a few days before since I was a new customer. I knew the appointment was soon and was hoping they would call back because I did not write down the appointment in my calendar.



The salon owner called me back today to let me know that my appointment was a week and a half ago. When I asked why I hadn't received a confirmation call, she said there were no notes to give me a call and she didn't know what she could do about it since it was a groupon. When I reminded her about the call she began to get snippy and told me to stop "pushing" her. I was only calmly asking why she hadn't called me to confirm. Then she told me I could look in her appointment book and that maybe someone else took the appointment. I assured her that she was who I spoke to and again, I was asked to stop "pushing" her.



So, Groupon, I'd like my money back. I would prefer not to go to a salon with an owner as rude as this. I wonder how small business owners can stay in business with this attitude. A bit of customer service would have been nice.
