Zero stars earned for completely fraudulent sales tactic! I called due to my AC not working properly. The tech who came never went to the roof to even look at the AC. He diagnosed it as a furnace issue and referred me to Jack who promptly sold me a $3,500 brand new furnace. The techs who installed the AC also never went to the roof or confirmed that the AC was working. It wasn't!! When I called back, they sent another tech who came out and told me the problem had been misdiagnosed. I needed a new AC, not a new furnace! Not only did All Temp not offer any type of refund or discount on the furnace they incorrectly sold me, but they tried to lie about the cost of a new air conditioner, saying the full cost was $5,000, but they wouldn't charge me any profit, overhead or labor due to the screw-up. I asked for the expense breakdown and Jack stalled, saying he would email a quote the next day. When I finally got him to disclose the breakdown, the cost of the AC & equipment was only $2,000 and they were still charging for labor. With a quick call to another company, I was able to confirm the cost of equipment and installation of a similar unit at $2,495. Obviously, I won't be using All Temp for the new AC!!

I would definately recommend this company. I had a great experience purchasing a furnace last winter and just my luck, the air conditioner quit this summer. I didn't hesitate to call All Temp. The salesman was there the same day I called and had a new Bryant air conditioner installed within 3 days. They finished up the installation in about 6 hours and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. I couldn't ask for anything more. My home is cool and I definately paid a fair price.

This company was recommended to me by a friend as my air conditioner wasn't throwing off cold air. They came out the same day, identified the problem (I don't change my filters) and fixed it. They really could have taken advantage of the situation but didn't.
I haven't had air upstairs inn my house for 20 years. Every company before AlTemp said I needed to buy a small unit for the top floor. Their serviceman looked at the problem, removed a ceiling tile in my laundry room and asked for a pliers. He turned a wing nut and asked me to go upstairs. Problem solved! Think of how much money he saved me? PLUS, he is the only one that figured it out. I was buying attic fans, purchased a larger central air unit etc. I wish I knew abouththese guys years ago.
The kicker was that this guy said he used to have his own company and was a competitor. He sold it and went to work for AlTemp because he felt they were the only company in town with the level of integrity that they subscribe to.

Recently, as all you Chicago folk know, we were rushed with a massive heat wave. Unfortunately I discovered that my A/C had decided to break, I called All Temp, and spoke to the customer service department, by that afternoon, I was enjoying the A/C once again. All Temp did not give me the run around or take advantage of the extreme heat, they respected my home and responded quickly. I have and will keep recommending them, I am very pleased with their service. Have used, and will now be using again.

Last winter the electric motor failed on our furnace filling our house with smoke. I called All Temp (Sean) at 8:00AM and explained that we had an infant that we had recently brought home from the hospital. A technician arrived within two hours and had the motor replaced and the furnace running within ninety minutes. I would highly reccomend this company and have several times since that day.

Thank you for taking care of my parents who live in Sauganash . They had an emergency with their furnace breaking down in this bitter cold winter and All Temp saved them . Considering the emergency circumstances , they still gave them a very reasonable price and didn't take advantage of the situation ,which I appreciated . They were on time , pleasant to deal with and most importantly to my mother left a clean worksite when they left . I'd highly recommend them to others .

the boiler to our radiator system stopped working in the first week of this surprisingly cold december.
the couple of technicians who came had no apparent knowledge of what they were doing. they had to call in for instructions on wiring.
by now, the have replaced the same (20 dollar) part four times, and magically, the boiler still stops working. they at some point blamed it on the electrical system and made me hire an electrician, who came out and commended us on the clean wiring and laughed at the idea that it was faulty.
alltemp keeps rigging the boiler for temporary heat and haven't fixed the problem. they have cancelled multiple times on scheduled maintenance visits.
i cannot comprehend how this company is open for business.
alltemp is by far the worst company i have ever attempted to do business with.

I ended up with some problems after they installed my unit. Trying to get them out again was impossible. I had to hire somebody else. Found out All Temp didn't do something right. I ended up spending even more than what the 'most expensive' company quoted originally. Something interesting and informative I learned: Ask contractors the name(s) of the technician(s) and/or installer(s) who will be working on your stuff and how long they've been a technician or installer. Then ask how long they've been with the company. Then ask for the 'seasoned' one(s). If they don't have any 'seasoned' ones, you might want to consider reasons why that might be.
