This is one of the worst unprofessional moving company I have ever used. And being in the military we have moved a lot and used a lot of movers. The movers smoke weed while working. And they ask for extra tips under the table without there supervisor knowing. My husband and I notice once we moved all our things out of AAron Bro,s Storage our boxes had been gone through and things stolen. Like about 50 movies and all my husbands tools which adds up to over $1500 stolen from us. When asked about our missing items everyone had amnesia. I would not recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use them again. They give my people a bad name. I wanted to go with a Black owned business to show support. But that was in vain.Because they are conniving, thieves and liars! The only reason I gave them 1 star cause I had to to post my review they really don't deserve that.

BEWARE OF THESE SHADY, UNPROFESSIONAL MOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They yelled at me and showed up 5hrs late! I called Aaron Brothers to set up my move into my new condo I had just bought. It is an elevator building so I reserved the elevator from 9:30am-12:30pm. It was critical that I move in during this time frame as my lease was up on my old place that day and I closed on the condo that morning. I scheduled my move to start with Aaron Brothers between 9:30-10am after my condo closing was complete. At 9:45am I called the movers to let them know I was ready whenever they were. The dispatcher responded that he was trying to get a hold of the driver and would call me back. 10:15 rolled around and I hadn't heard anything so I called again to check the status. The dispatcher then told me the movers would not show until 11am. I told him I was a bit concerned about missing my elevator time and he rudely told me that they would figure it out. 11:45am rolled around with no movers so I called again. I told the guy that I was going to miss my elevator time. He was extremely short on the phone and not apologetic. He did say that he would try to call my management office to get another elevator time and that he would call me back (of course by this time I knew that wasn't going to happen). I ended up going to my management office myself to re-schedule (they had to squeeze my move in with another since the elevator times were full). They said that Aaron Brothers never did call to try to set up another time for me. When I called the dispatcher back to tell him that I had worked the situation out he asked me what the LATEST they could be there was. At this point I asked why they were already 4 hours late and that they needed to send a truck out immediately. The dispatcher then preceded to scream at my over the phone and told me that moving isn't an exact science and that he was annoyed I had called so much. When I asked that he please not be rude to me as a customer HE HUNG UP the phone on me. Furious with how I was treated, I hung up and worked on finding other movers. I found great movers with Midway Moving and Storage who showed up at 2pm for my move. Aaron Brothers finally sent movers at 2:30pm...I obviously sent them on their way as I would not give any business to a place that treats people so poorly. I cannot believe how awful this company is. They made my moving day a living hell with their poor scheduling, communication, and rude personnel.
I have used Aaron Bros. Moving three times in the last four years. They have always been on-time and careful with furniture and other personal items. The great thing about them is they used the same team leader for each of my moves. He was great each time. I will use them for any move I have in the futue. I have recommended them to my friends and family.
Today was moving day for me, I have been anticipating this day for 3 months now. I have my place , my keys, and everything was packed. I used Aaron Brother movers reffered to me by my attorney. They were good i am now all unpacked and will surely if needed will use them again.
I have been a bonefide moving and storage customer for the past 15 years. My job requires it. I have used many Moving companies in Chicago , untill i found this one in 1991. They treat me like family, and pick my stuff up and deliver itwhenever i make it back to my Chicago home. They make things so much easier for me. Thanks Guys, And my favorite Sultan!!!

I gotta say I was nervous about this one, I needed to move out of my apartment A.S.A.P. Let's just say that when your computer mysteriously walks out of your apartment into the janitors closet its time to find a new dwelling pronto.
So I picked up the phone and after a few calls booked Aaron Bros to come and move my stuff. After I got off the phone I checked out a few reviews on the company and FREAKED OUT. By the time I had decided to cancel they were knocking on my front door.
After hemming and hawing about not being ready the crew said if I wanted them to go grab coffee while I finished packing it wouldn't be a problem so I said yes. Before they got out of the building I ran into the janitor who borrowed my computer and he slyly smiled at me and ""instinctively"" reached for his building keys. That was it! I said any port in a storm so I called the moving guys back up, told them my situation, told them my apprehension about using them, folded my arms and waited.
To my surprise they actually were pretty good. They did a quick walk through, gave me an estimate on how long it would take. Padded my stuff up, used some plastic stuff to keep my couch from getting dirty and we were on the way to my storage spot. THIS IS WERE THEY SHINED!!!
The storage attendant was trying to get me to get a 10 X 15 for one bedroom worth of stuff and I said your the expert so lets go. The movers pulled me aside, explained to me how to properly pack a storage unit, suggested I get a smaller unit (saving me about 50.00 bucks) and puzzle pieced it in there. They told me to put all the things I need immediately in the front (which I did) and viola we were done, and in under three hours too.
I got the name of the driver (Sultan) and told him I will use this company again as long as this crew was the one moving me. So until next time adieu!

Let me preface this comment by saying that I've never written a poor review for a company...I rarely even complain about service, but I felt so strongly about this experience I felt compelled to warn others.
Let's see...Well I'll start at the beginning. I was the first move of the day - scheduled at 9am sharp. Unfortunately the drivers didn't arrive until 10:30am. They arrived and seemed ""out of sorts."" We lived in a two flat with two bedrooms and their eyes got as big as saucers when they walked around. They acted as if they were moving a 12 bedroom mansion rather than a simple 2 bedroom. It was strange. That said, the guys were nice enough and began moving items. In fact one of them was really jolly. I realized why when he came into one of the bedrooms...he wreaked of alcohol!!!! Then the next revelation - they didn't have ANY tools to break down the beds, dining room table or daybed. The drunk one apparently wouldn't believe that a piece of furniture couldn't be carried out through the front entryway after his collegues attempted to get it out, so he lifted the item himself and banged up the ceiling and both walls trying to push and shove it out. Needless to say, it didn't go. Back to the tools. This was an ongoing source of drama. In between moving boxes our they lamented about how they didn't have any tools and them asked me if I had any. I said, YES, but guess what? They are packed away! Luckily I did keep a few items in my open me first bag but it wasn't the one needed. They said they were going to have to leave the furniture because they didn't have the tools. I promptly called the office and told them this was unacceptable. Finally they guys went to ACE hardeware to get ONE tool. When they left, I noticed that they walked back and forth through MUD and tracked it from the truck, up the sidewalk up the stairs and onto the interior stairwell which was lined with beige carpeting. The office asked ""What do you want them to do? Wipe their feet each time they walk into the building?"" I said, no...how about park in front of mud and have the forthought not to track it in someone's home? Isn't that normal thought and care as a professional? I called the office no fewer than 6 times during this move. It was supposed to last about 3.5 hours max. They didn't finish until 6.5 hours LATER! They broke wardobe, got mud on a couch...I could go on but my fingers are tired from typing. Long story short - ok it's to late for that, it's already a long story...but this was the most horrible experience I have ever had from ANYONE...EVER. I do NOT recommend using this company. Please save yourself frustration, money and time. Keep looking for another vendor.

Thank you so much Aaron Bros. for such an amazing moving experience. These guys are professional, on time and very easy to work with. My move required Aaron Bros. to be in the north suburbs, then Wicker Park and then back downtown. My move started around 9am and it was completely finished with no problems whatsoever before 12pm!!! The staff that did my move was friendly and helpful which always makes the day so much easier. Thank you again Aaron Bros. for living up to the tag line on the website you guys really do “Move Chicago”!
Aaron Brothers Moving System in Grand Boulevard, Chicago is the worse and most unprofessional moving company I've ever dealt with. They broke my $3500 aquarium stand and tried to glue it back together and did not respond for several weeks as to when the aquarium would be ready and delivered, and was agitated because we followed up with them twice a week. Then the hired help came to move my belongings dope sick and put the bleach in the box with $200 valued clothes and had the nerve to tell us "after we left the store the value of the clothes depreciated" therefore Vince the GM stated he(Vince the GM) will only pay us $40. And gave us the run around about receiving $150. Vince is a liar and should not be able to move anyone that value their belongings and has paid a bundle for their belongings.Because he has employed junkies that does not value anything except their drugs.
I called from a yellow pages ad and spoke to Vince...he was very friendly and professional. I requested 3 guys and they showed up on time and were very efficient and careful with my furniture. I had absolutely no problems and was very impressed in general. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends!

Had bad service with Aaron Bros. Movers/Storage. They moved my furniture to their storage. Had to pay after service done, so they added fees after furniture moved there, which I wasn't told about. They kept changing fees/pricing each month. Mixed up my unit with someone else's where they almost put lien on my items. Manager was rude on phone. He hung up on me twice. Once when I was questioning the price of my unit. Hung up on me again when I requested to move my items out of storage. BAD BUSINESS PEOPLE.
These guys called 3 minutes before they were supposed to pick up my stuff. When I calmly asked why I was receiving such poor service and short notice I was yelled at and then hung up on. If this is how you like to be treated, then Aaron Brothers are the guys for you.
This letter is in response to the online complaint filed back in January of 2009. I am not familiar with the circumstances surrounding this complaint, but in the name of customer service would like to apologize to anyone that this incident affected. This is not an accurate barometer to gage how we operate as a company, this is only an isolated incident if this took place. Again i apologize sincerely and welcome your feed back. Vincent G. I would not recommend these movers to a "squirrel"! They send three men to move U. The scam is three men move you out of your old residence but at the new one only one man brings in the items. The time is longer for one man to move in furnishings than for even two men. If two men had move my furnishings into the new address I would not have been out of $500.00 dollars. I am a 63yr senior living on a fixed income. The few items I had should not have taken five hours to move at a rate of $82.00 dollars an hour. Don't patronize these "Movers".....(26 plastic totes)7 boxes,queen mattress,dresser,loveseat,full sofa,one 20inch tv,end tables,and cocktail table, 2 chairs on wheels,two dining chairs,card table. Aaron Bros is thumbs down!!
Here is a running list of reasons to not use these movers...

3) They showed up in a U-Haul
...And the worst part, when I called to see where they were, VINCE HARDY YELLED AT ME. Who yells at their customers? Who yells at a paying customer when they call to see why their movers are late? I have never been treated so poorly by any company...DO NOT USE THEM
