Pretty sure this place is a fr...

Pretty sure this place is a front. I recently had a huge job to complete (bathroom, two living rooms, bedroom, hall, and laundry room) and was told to check this place out for floor samples. It was close by, too, so I walked over with my two little kids. Despite the fact that I made eye contact with two people at the front desk, not one person greeted us. We walked into one of the show rooms to check out porcelain tile and other options for radiant-heated floors and- after we were looked at samples for about ten minutes- the lights went out and I heard the click of the front door.

"Uh, hello?" I called back to the front desk.

"Oh. Sorry. Didn't know anyone was here," said the guy WHO SAW ME WALK THROUGH THE DOOR WITH A TWO YEAR-OLD AND A BABY. He told me they were closing (really?) and I'd have to come back another time. I asked about their hours. He vaguely told me.

For some reason, I came back again (after calling ahead for hours) and had to beg someone to check prices for me. Dude seriously huffed about walking to and from the showroom floor to the computer for three different tiles. I asked for advice on different materials, etc., and told the guy I needed to complete a 25k job- any help would be greatly appreciated. He truly couldn't have cared less.

And, between the time I had given the style number to my contractor and when he called to place an order, the prices had changed on the tile I wanted.

We ordered from someplace else.

It must be hard to run a flooring business when people are rarely allowed to purchase the flooring.

Carpet installer made an appointment for measurement and estimate and never showed up. Second guy never bothered to make an appointment. Lots of other places that give better service than that. Avoid.

Poor customer service

First we had to actually approach staff to order our tiles instead of them offering assistance to us, the customer. That should have been our clue to go elsewhere but we wanted to keep our business in the neighborhood and support a local merchant instead of Home Depot. While the tiles we did recieve were of fine quality, they gave us the ""runaround"" on when the some of our tiles would be available and kept telling us tomorrow. Well tomorrow is no longer 24 hours--tomorrow is now 7 days and counting. If customer service and timeliness isn't your thing, then this is the perfect merchant for you.

Terrible customer service eclipses terrible product and installation!

We hired A American Custom Flooring Inc. to install a new Corian counter and windowsills. Although their website said that they would have Corian installed in 10 days, it took 27 days to install. Then, the job was horrid. The Corian had a lot of discolorations. The hole for the sink was cut too big. The support frame hung below the Corian. There was a huge gaping hole beneath the counter. The living room windowsill didn?t make full contact with the ledge. The list of problems is long. Their sales person had told us that our condo would look like their showroom and that our counter would look like all one piece because it would be seamless. That is not what we received. We sent them a detailed email outlining all of our initial problems and photos the same day as the installation. It took 3 days for them to come back to see the problems. They say that they will do what needs to be done to correct the problems and make us happy. We are growing impatient, however. It?s been about a week since the installation, and they have not told us what they will do for us, and they haven?t been especially nice to us. We are obviously unhappy with the quality of the counter and windowsill (singular since one is still missing) as well as the installation. Yet, our biggest anger is with the lack of customer service: response time, lack of solutions & their demeanor. We still hope that A American Custom Flooring, Inc. will correct our problems and will do so quickly. However as each day passes without a solid plan of what they will do to make things right, we are growing unhappier.
