I called service for a repair of a dsihwasher. I was sold a Service agreement. then a repair service scheduled. The technician was there and scheduled a second visit for September 29. He was there and the diswasher still did not get repaired. I called to cancel the service agreement and to get some credit to purchase a new diswasher in Sears. I was told that the cost of the two visits( that did not work) exceed what I paid for the service agrrement. What a joke . I worked for Sears and retired 10 years ago. Well this was it with Sears Holdings.
Scheduling and timeliness of service was great! The technician was very professional , informative and friendly . Very satisfied customer.
Disappointing is an understatement. After the 1st appt was missed, the 2nd appt was almost missed till I called screaming to get someone to show up during time allotted. Unfortunately, when the tech arrived, he was more concerned with my culture, heritage & how much $ I made rather than doing his job. Tech made insulting & disgusting remarks regarding my ethnicity. He was hesitant to complete the job because he felt that I could afford a new water heater rather than repair the old one. After declining the purchase, he "fixed" what was intended to be fixed, instead he caused more of an issue. I called Sears to have another tech come out yet nothing was done to truly fix the initial problem & the problem created by the tech. I waited for 2 days & nothing was done. I had to hire an outside party to identify the Sears tech had shut off one of the vales causing the hot water circulation pump to be burned out & costed an additional $800. I'm still waiting for Sears to provide an explanation!
They had said it was only 105.00 labor charge, but they brought 2 technicians! There were no parts needed and my bill was 260.00!! I ask him why so expensive since he was there only about 1 hr. He said b/c there are 2 of us!! I ask what the other guy do HOLD THE FLASHLIGHT?? I sure don't trust these guys! They were more money than a HVAC technician an hour and they were fixing a FRIDGE!
I was very disappointed the repairman did no show up when I called I was told I would receive a call did not the time was 10 to 2 the phone call did not happen to 5pm
