I have always had a great experience when dealing with anyone at American Mortgage Corporation. My first mortgage was through them and the process was so efficient and effortless. Then, I recently did a refinance with them and that was just as easy to complete. They are very thorough and friendly. They have always been able to assist me and answer any questions or concerns I may have.

Lissa Hubbard was very helpful in obtaining my refi. It is too bad she had to work with such a slow lender in Everbank. It took months but she kept on them and we finally closed on 12-31-12.
Our BBMC experience: On 7/28/12, we submitted refi application and all required documentation - - no problem with qualifying but no progress toward closing for 2 months. Loan officer said it was due to a huge 'backlog.'On 10/1/12, we were told we had to resubmit all documentation, since our July documents were over 60 days old (no longer current) . . . due to THEIR delays. We were promised a speedy closing if we'd resubmit. We did so.Closing was finally scheduled on 11/30/12 @ 4:00 (not 'speedy'). The notary didn't show up for closing, so we called her. She was surprised that no one from BBMC had notified us that closing was cancelled. It was 3 days before the loan officer would return our calls/texts/emails for clarification. She said the cancellation was due to improperly prepared closing paperwork.Closing was rescheduled for 12/8/12 @ 5:00. . . . and the very same thing happened again.We withdrew our application and went with a local bank, where we got a lower rate and closed in 3 WEEKS.
This was a difficult and time consuming loan. Lissa Hubbard stuck with it when it seemed impossible. She definitely has patience and eventually brought it to a successful conclusion.
