I had the pleasure of eating at Global Kitchen for breakfast. When I walked in, I was impressed with the theme of the restaurant. The world clocks hung on the walls, keeping time from Chicago to Paris. The African art and hand carved wooden wildlife, brightened up the place. The floors were clean and we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The owner, a very sweet African American woman, introduced herself and made us feel right at home. She showed us her rooms around the world and I must say this is a great place to catch up with friends, have an intimate dinner with your significant other, or family. I enjoyed the Paris room with the telephone booth and Art. After the tour, my friend and I sat and ordered our breakfast. I was in great company so the wait for our food didn't seem that long. However, if you have small children, I recommend bringing coloring books or IPad to keep them busy. When the food arrived, it was piping hot and smelled great. The taste was so succulent, my pancakes were fluffy and moist. My bacon was crisp, not chewy and not scraps. And the waiter was very attentive. Over all the food was superb and the service was great. This is a place that will be well worth the wait! L.A. Holts http://dancemeapoem.wix.com/speaklife
