VERY GOOD!!! I think that Garrett's has more of a buttery cheese popcorn and Let's Get Poppin is more of a cheddar cheese popcorn. Because I prefer buttery, I gave Let's Get Poppin 4 stars; Otherwise, it would be 5 stars! Garrett's carmel corn comes out of a bag like out of the grocery store and tastes manufactured...UGGH!! I DEFINITELY recommend Let's Get Poppin!!!!
Garrett Popcorn on Michigan Avenue is in the middle of the shopping and tourist district, so you might have to wait in line to get some of this famous popcorn. They offer a mixed bag of caramel corn and cheese together, which sounds like it would taste strange but actually is great together. Be sure to buy an extra bag to bring home with you, as it does go fast.
love the popcorn...love the service LOVED EVERYTHING!!! The popcorn is better than Garretts... BLACKOWNED!!!!! Only one location is the down side... Wish she would come to the suburbs. But until then.... Off to Western I go
I look forward to my occational downtown trip because I can always bring home a sack of the yummy popcorn! Cheese, butter, caramel...lots of others too. Just bring a long book...the lines can form down the block!
Service is great. We're from Detroit and whenever we're in town we stop in. The BBQ popcorn is addictive. We have a list of orders from Detroit and they accommodate us with siles and laughter everytime.
The caramel popcorn here is simply incredible, especially if it is still hot. The line is long, but the employees move quickly. Be sure to try the delicous popcorn balls, too.
There is almost always a line here, but it is well worth the wait. The MUST TRY is the still warm caramel corn. The service is fairly fast, so the wait is not too long.
Line up with everyone else in Chicago who has stopped by to buy fresh caramel corn and popcorn balls. It is certainly worth the wait.
A must when visiting Chicago! Any flavor, cheese, caramel, mix, it's all good!! Always fresh and stays that way for days.
Loved the popcorn, a must when visiting Chicago. I look forward to this being a Chicago tradition for my family
