I've been doing my income taxes with them for years and have never been disappointed with the results. I know I couldn't do them myself, as some of my papers are confusing to me, so I'm glad that I have the peace of mind of them being CPAs who have been doing this for a while. The tax profile form that they have you fill out is a little long and tedious, but it makes sense to have to answer all questions to make sure things are filed correctly. I've had to look over some of those questions twice when I fill it out. As for waiting, I hardly wait at all since I fill it out early and just tell them I'll sit with them another day to go over everything. There's a pretty cool store next door too with a variety of interesting items.
Had appointment to renew benefits scheduled for December 26 the day after Christmas. On January 4th no link deposited into my account. Called this office at least fifteen times!!!! Tried again this morning and still no one answered. This number the office just uses it but never answers.
The supervisor was demeaning and insensitive to the needs of myself and all others I saw her with. Wrong person for a very important people job in the State of Illinois. Seemed to need to psychologically disrespect the hordes she is paid to serve.
Tim delivered absolutely nothing -- AND told me he could NOT COMPLETE the DAY BEFORE the IRS tax DEADLINE after weeks of email and text message promises. This is totally unprofessional/unethical and well as a violation of contract agreement.Tim commited to personal / business for 2016 and an amended for a previous year and was given documents by Feb 10th, 2017. After continued emails and texts to see if he would deliver (as he was not very responsive and/or vague), he consistently indicated he would have everything done. The day the IRS deadline (the 18th this year) before he indicates that 2016 were not done at all (not business, not personal) and he needs an extension (and doubt he filed one in March for the business - he never offered proof after being repeatedly asked to provide. He had the gist of the documents for the amended back in NOVEMBER 2016 with the additional of some receipts in Feb 2017. Same response as business / personal. I WILL have them done (and after continued asking for dates, finally got "by the deadline"). Tim also assumes you can drop everything the day they are due and just leave your job, meetings, schedules, commitments and somehow get the taxes at a post office that day (hey, The Post Office is open till midnight and you have no plans, right?), give him time to get them and then you have to get them later with his signature. WHAT? Tim completed my 2014 taxes in 2015 and had them completed & delivered by March 26th 2015, so I assumed he would be consistent and do the same at a later date. The guy is totally unprofessional and should have his certification yanked. Do not do business with Tim Haggerty, CPA. You will regret it
The employees at this office DO NOT answer phones. If you are lucky enough to get through to a voicemail--which occasionally occurs--you will be instructed to punch in a number if your caseworker's name begins with a specific range of letters, and so on, but that worker will not answer the phone. You night be lucky enough to get a voicemail tape; however, if you leave a message, your call will never be returned. A response from the State of Illinois stated that Public Aid no longer assigns caseworkers to cases, so apparently their voicemail system is outdated.
My experience with them is horrible it has been 2 months and me and my child has not received their benefits because they can tell you to lose our paperwork I have brought my paperwork up there several times but because they keep misplacing it I cannot get my benefits I have tried calling several several times and all they do is say is I will have your caseworker email you back or call you back and I have yet to receive a call or they has there been any change in my status they are horrible and they have no concern for others . Miss Tate is the name of one of the case workers.
My experience was terrible the owner was rude and didn't answer some of my questions that I thought was important. He was getting frustrated and made me felt very uncomfortable. He then yelled at one of his girls that worked there. I felt bad for her. I don't recommend any one goin there. It's not worth it! They charge different all the time. The owner needs to realize how rude and disrespectful he was to his clients n workers. I will not be goin back ever!!!!
In my opinion, Ocar was the rudest person I have ever encountered. Not only did he hang out the phone twice on me but was extremely offensive and unprofessional in the way that he represented himself. He clearly stated "I do not care about you people (speaking about his client)." Additionally, as a tax accpuntant he does not seem to provide accurate tax information to his clients.
Went in today. From the minute we walked in until we were done it was a pleasant experience. The girl at the information desk was helpful.Mr. Richard Jones was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything we needed to know. Sorry some had a bad experience, but we were only there for about 35 minutes and I would go back again if I had to.
No good service !Anna make errors, and tell you sorry. but you have to pay IRS her sorry.Stay away from this place, even if you happy with taxes this year, next year she make surprice for you. No money back, just SORRY !!!
