On May 9th, according to my Chase bank records, I picked up and delivered dry cleaning to the establishment. While doing this I was informed that I could pre-pay for the delivered dry cleaning. I was not give a ticket for the order because it was written on the old ticket. Mt Greenwood Dry Cleaners charged my Chase account $73.50 on that day via their Cube. On June 19th, I returned to the cleaners to pick up my dry cleaning. I provided my name and they produced one blouse that had been re cleaned. The rest of the order was not to be found. I was asked if I had a ticket and informed them that they did not provide me with one since it was pre-paid. Ashton informed me after another attempt that my cleaning was not there. He told me that the owner would contact me with an update and replace the items if they could not be located. No contact from the owner occurred.On June 21st, I returned to the cleaners with a photo of the debit to my bank account. I spoke with Audrey Kahne, explained the situation and showed her the photo of the bank statement. She searched her records and was not able to find the transaction in her files. I was informed that the transaction never took place and I was fabricating the entire event. My items were never returned to me and at this time appear to be lost. No offer of restitution was made and not further effort to rectify the situation is being made by the cleaners. She turned her back on me and went in the back of the store. She was quite rude and confrontational during the exchange. "We DON'T loose dry cleaning " was her statement. That is clearly not the case. That is concerning but she can not even produce the record of the transaction even though there is proof that it did occur.

Our youngest son, age 3, has been attending for a month. He has made noticeable improvements in his fine motor skills such as tracing lines (letters, shapes, numbers), using spoon and fork, and putting on/taking off his shoes. Everything is high quality: staff, environment, curriculum, communication. Moving him from his previous day care to Gardner School has been the best decision we had made for him.
We enrolled our son as soon as the West Loop school opened and will always cherish our experience there. The director and especially his teacher, Miss. Jessica, created an environment of love and respect among the children. His development both emotionally and intellectually has set him far ahead of his peers now that we have relocated. The downfall of Bright Elementary School 10740 S. Calhoun Avenue Chicago, IL was caused by the principal ever since she strangely became the principal in 2002. As soon as she got the job she started going after teachers for no reason. The principal doesn't teat assistant principals much better so they leave as soon as they can. The principal feels a need to dominate everything and everyone so she "micro-manages." Then she gives teachers directions that contradict each other so she can get them in trouble later by claiming the teachers ignored her directions. (Which set of directions?) Teachers don't know how to react when their boss frequent lies and manipulates. Who could face such evil tyranny on a daily basis without feeling burned out? She causes staff so much stress that they end up getting sick and being absent. How much is that costing our kids and CPS?
