This airport is a bit antiquated. The only things that seem up to date or even modern are the moving sidewalks. Choice of eateries were slim in the picking ( ended up eating at Miller's Pub, please avoid). The bathrooms were stark and made me feel like I was in a prison. Not my favorite airport.
I flew United Airlines there a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. The waiting area at my gate had couches and bar height tables with plug ins for devices. TVs too. Security line was long, but it was always moving. There are lots of shops and restaurants of every kind there.
Easy to navigate airport and friendly workers. Getting into Midway and grabbing the Orange line makes travel to downtown Chicago a breeze.
Love the. Size and location of this airport. Not the cleanest but better than many I've been to.
