I was so worried when I realized my mother would require a 24/7 care giver. But 2 local agencies recommended the Golden Bridge, and they were so right! My mind has been at ease knowing my mother has someone there to help, care for and encourage her.
Franklin Neal-McCallIn Home Services with Help At Home Start Date June 09, 2015.On Monday, July 6, 2015 I went to Franks apartment at 10:30 am the door was locked and I used my key to open the door. I went in and Frank was lying on the floor. Frank said to me I have been laying here for two days. His lower body was covered in urine and feces. I went to bathroom and got a towel and put it in his wheelchair. I picked Frank up and sat him in hiswheelchair and took him to the bathroom and gave him a shower. I got him dressed had him stand up and his knees buckled. So I lowered him to the floor called Dr. Ostrom and he said you need to get an ambulance to transport him the the e.r.. Frank was admitted with a diagnoses ofRhadbomyolysis.I called Regina at the Union Help At Home office and told her what had happened. She did not now that an aide did not show up on Sunday. Regina said that Sara came on Saturday July 4th 10:00am-12:00pm. No one showed up on Sunday July 5th.
The Homemakers prey on older men. When you contact the agency about the workers, their only concern is "we will investigate, and call you later." They are a bunch of uneducated lazy workers, doing what they do best...NOTHING!!!!
Great service, I used them to attain a nurse to assist my ailing mother. The nurses were kind, very helpful and respectful. The owners are very helpful and educated me on how the entire process works. I would use Angels care if forbid ever the situation arose again where I needed home health care for any family members. Great people, great service.
The guy who answers the phone is very rude and not so accomodating!
