Employment Contract
Michael Hirsch has experience preparing estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and financial and health care powers of attorney; drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements; and advising small businesses on entity formation, including shareholder and operating agreements, and employment agreements. Michael also has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of trademark law.

Real Estate Litigation
Jessica prepares the necessary probate documents for filing with court, federal and state estate tax returns, and trust and estate accountings. She also handles asset transfers, coordinates and reviews appraisals of real and tangible personal property, and obtains asset values. Jessica routinely coordinates with the accountants and other professionals whose assistance is required for the handling of the estate or trust. For ongoing trusts, Jessica handles the books, coordinates distributions and payment of expenses with the Trustee, coordinates the filing of the fiduciary income tax returns with the accountant for the trust, corresponds with beneficiaries, and prepares annual accountings. Jessica also handles like-kind exchanges, leases, real property transactions and other real estate matters.

Harold Krauthamer represents his clients regarding their business, estate planning and personal needs. He assists clients with tax and business planning, all aspects of starting and maintaining a business, preparing estate planning documents and pre/post-nuptial agreements and he counsels clients regarding individuals and families with special needs. Harold also helps clients with real estate transactions, leases, and like-kind exchanges. Through his title company, Friendship Title, Harold is able to conduct residential and commercial real estate settlements.

Krauthamer & Stahl represents many disabled individuals and their families. We work to match the individual needs of the client with the appropriate program or social service agency. We routinely prepare estate planning documents to meet the needs of a disabled beneficiary and preserve assets as necessary for the disabled person's benefit. Our firm has many ties to the social service programs in Montgomery County and the Washington, DC area and we regularly work with CHI Centers, Jewish Foundation for Group Homes (JFGH), Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA), ARC, and Plan of Maryland-DC, Inc. among others. These deep connections allow us to meet the evolving needs of a disabled client from childhood through adulthood. Harold Krauthamer is one of the founding members of JFGH.

Jessica Del Vecchio joined Krauthamer & Stahl in 1998 and currently oversees the estate and trust administration work at the firm.
Power of Attorney
Krauthamer & Stahl prepares individualized estate plans to meet the specific needs of our clients. We do not take a one-size fits all approach. We are experienced in drafting both simple and complex estate plans. We will meet with you and craft an estate plan that prioritizes your needs, whether it be creditor protection, incompetency planning, life insurance trusts, estate tax planning, charitable gifting, preserving assets for future generations, or irrevocable and revocable trust preparation. Our services include coordinating retirement plan assets and life insurance into the overall estate plan. We also assist clients with funding revocable trusts. Our estate planning services include the preparation of durable financial powers of attorney, advanced health care directives and health care powers of attorney.
