We had this noise we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The weather had been cold, but for the past couple of days, it had gotten warm, so didn't really notice the house was cold or hot...seemed just right. After a lot of frustration trying to locate this weird noise, thought it might be coming from the furnace. I called Fresh Air Heating and Cooling, and The lady on the phone tried to help me by asking me to turn off the furnace. There is an on and off swith on a furnace. I never knew that. I thought if you just turned off your thermostat that that turned off the furnace. We had an air cleaner on our furnace which we ran non stop...so turning off the thermostat doesn't turn off the part of the furnace that is the air cleaner..Yup, that was it. I called her back and they were out immediately that day. We needed a new furnace motor. The noise was the motor trying to kick on...Ends up that we needed a new air cleaner...The repair man was here for about 3 hours if I recall right, but the work was excellent, and I am very satisfied..We got their deal where you pay so much a year and they come out and inspect the furnace and air conditioner so maybe we won't wait too long next time.
Fresh Air is AMAZING. After living in our home and not having the furnace or a/c serviced for 5 years, I was convinced that when I had our 15yr old units serviced I would be buying new ones. When the service man came to the house and checked everything out, I was ABSOLUTELY ready to spend thousands replacing both units, the service tech explained that we were in good shape and didn't need any repairs, let alone a new system. I kept challenging him, thinking if I'm going to need a new system in a year, just do it now while I have the money. The service tech handled the situation very well and educated me about our units. Now 5 years later, they still service the same units and have kept them in great shape! Last fall we had a whole house humidifier installed and were very happy with the lack of static we saw this past winter. I can't say enough good things! I have recommended them to friends and family over the years. It's comforting to know that they are educated, skilled, honest people who I know I could depend on being fair in an urgent situation (like the a/c failing).
We have been a customer with Fresh Air Heating and Cooling for some time, and have a reliable service technician name Jeff come to my home each year under the service agreement. I feel he tends to my furnace and air conditioner as if it was his own. He is very honest when he gives me his opinion on the equipment. As a possible area of improvement I do feel that the Company can give more of a discount on additional services that my furnace and air conditioner might need over and above the service contract. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I also had one time that I had to haggle with the office to get the best price on a repair. I feel that the best price should be given right up front without having to negotiate when dealing with a long term customer. I believe that long term customers should be given more of a priority. To recap the technician I use and the reliability of the company keeps me doing business with the company.
Fresh Air Heating and Cooling is the most reliable and honest furnace/AC company I've ever used. Our old furnace died in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter. I called Fresh Air Heating and Cooling at 3:00 AM and was able to describe the problem. Fresh Air contacted me first thing and sent a tech out to help us. They patched together our decades-old furnace long enough to get us warm again and then assisted us to find a new system within our budget. They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleaned up everything after the service calls and after the new installation. They were careful to provide paperwork for the tax rebates and did not leave until we knew how to use the new equipment. They even came back when the weather was finally warm to fine-calibrate the AC — no charge. It is a great comfort to know that we can call on them at any time and they will know how to help. One less thing to worry about!
The furnace and air conditioner that they installed seem to be of good quality, and the sales staff was extremely friendly and responsive. We were not as happy with the team that came to install the system. They did a very poor job reinstalling our chimney cap, and we pointed out to them that it was not properly attached. They insisted that it was fine. However, with the first strong wind, the chimney cap was lying in our backyard. We had to call and have them come back to fix it. About a week later, a very loud rattle started each time the furnace kicked on. When the worker arrived, he claimed he could not hear the rattle, although it was very loud. There was a problem, and he ended up fixing it after I insisted. In short, the installers minimized our concerns and they ended up spending much more time on the job than if they had simply listened to us from the beginning.
I've had Fresh Air-Weinrich Heating and Cooling out to my house several times over the last 10 years and keep calling them first whenever I have any heating or cooling needs. They quickly responded to emergency calls and fixed both my furnace and AC when the units broke down. When it came time to replace my 20+ year-old AC, Weinrich provided me the most competitive bid on a Carrier system I could find. They didn't try to sell me a unit bigger than what my house needed, and minimized cost by using existing materials where possible. Installation was efficient and done right the first time. The front office people, estimators, and technicians have always been very friendly and professional. In a day and age where it seems hard to find companies you can trust to do reliable work, they are a rare find. I highly recommend Fresh Air!

The workman on our job (Randy E) was extremely professional. We started asking about a leak in our a/c system. The workman then explained the minimum service we needed. Then we asked about age of unit and if we should invest more. The serviceman provide several options with explanation of why they were helpful and the cost. There was no pressure and we selected the option that was best for our family. The installation was done on time, the area was very clean when they were finished, and he explained everything on the new system. We intend to become part of the yearly service contract group and certainly intend to ask for Randy every year. Thank you Fresh-Air Weinrich.
Great service, reasonable pricing. (They do not try to up sell you on a new system when only a repair is required). I have been using this company for several years for my heating and cooling system maintenance and recently called them for a furnace issue and they were right there for me. The problem was diagnosed and repaired efficiently. There are no messes left to clean up after they leave, as this Company employs technicians who are always courteous, respectful, and they take pride in their work. When you call them, a real person answers the phone and they have always been courteous and attentive to requests. IMO you cannot go wrong with this company.
A friend told me about them. I wanted a company that was in business for the long haul. The boss checked my unit, furnace and a/c, and told me what I should do. I told him what I wanted done. He told me the cost, including a plan for annual service. The following Monday the Fresh Air crew came, did their thing and left, without tracks... No muss, no fuss, no problems, no regrets. Unit seems to be working as promised. My wife and I are satisfied customers. Only surprise was a visit from Mike Sinn, the owner who wanted to check out the installation personally. Thanks to all the folks at Fresh Air!
