I've been going to this store for 8yrs, and am always impressed with how quality help (geek and sales) are replaced with even better qualified personal.
Purchased a Microwave; Chestfield Best Buy didn't have the style I wanted in stock. Chesterfield called the Best Buy Utica store an informed me I could pick it up there. Got to Utica; they had a microwave waiting; not realizing it wasn't the one I requested; loaded it up; Got home opened the box and to my amazement staring me in the face was the SAME model Chesterfield store originally tried to sell me. My choice was drive back 30 miles to return it or keep it. DON'T trust the word of the salesman there; better to look to Walmarts or ABC Warehouse, they will match any price
I like how well the pre-order went for the iPhone 5 today. I pre-ordered my phone from your store (2 iPhone 5's, 16gb from Verizon). I did this on the day you started taking pre-orders. I show up and quietly stand in line for 2 hours waiting my turn.... and when I get up there you don't have my phones.Further, no one can give me an answer as to when you WILL have my phones. Everyone else from every Best Buy, Walmart, Verizon Store, Apple Store or anywhere else that pre-ordered and waited their turn GOT THEIR PHONES. But you guys managed to drop the ONE THING YOU HAD TO DO TODAY. There is no reason other than incompetence for this. No explanation, no logistical anomaly NOTHING. The only reason you cannot keep track of orders within your own store is INCOMPETENCE. No other Best Buy was turning away folks with VALID pre-orders. And worst of all it's like it was no big deal... I presume this must occur all the time for the nonchalant attitude. I will never order from this store again. Buyer beware.
