General Info: Inspired by the operation model of local non-profit, high-volume spay/neuter clinics, PSVC is dedicated to provide in-home pet-sitting services to those who work long hours (or otherwise must be away from the home for extended periods of time) and are unwillingly forced to leave their pet by him/herself 8+ hours without being let out to use the bathroom, exercise, or otherwise be physically & mentally stimulated by positive human contact. For many, hiring a pet sitter to care for their beloved pets during their absence is out of the question, simply due to the high cost associated with hiring a dedicated pet caretaker. PSVC maintains lower service rates than other pet sitting services in the area. This is because the array of service is intentionally limited. While most commercial and other independent pet-sitting service providers offer EXTRA bells n' whistles-type service capabilities such as grooming, field trips, play meets/dates, pet taxi, etc. (which are certainly great for the pet, provided the owner can afford them), PSVC concentrates only on general pet-sitting visits and walks. Advertisements and media used to announce service offerings are also kept as minimal as possible. These factors keep the overhead costs of the business down, thus saving money for clients without compromising QUALITY. We cut cost on the human side, not on the pet(s). PSVC strives to maintain the highest integrity and business ethic and is also actively supporting animal rescue groups and welfare organizations throughout the community. Services/Products: For DOGS --- A standard visit includes, but not limited to the following: Your dog(s) will be taken outside for a potty break, and will be walked to and around the pre-designated area for a period of no less than five (5) minutes. If a WALK is request (fees applies), and weather & daylight permitting, the dog(s) will proceed to be taken for a leashed walk for 15 or 30 minutes. Feeding, medication (if requested), and checking/changing out water. Clean up any signifigant mess the dog(s) might have made while at home. Walk the home to make sure everything is in good order and notify client of anythig unusual (immediate phone call if necessary, otherwise just a note). Record the time of the visit and drop a check-out ticket before leaving. If the client prefers, a text message will be sent for IMMEDIATE assurance that the dog(s) has been cared for. For CATS --- A standard visit includes, but not limited to the following: Cleaning out the litterbox. Feeding, medication (if requested), and checking/changing out water. Clean up any signifigant mess the cat(s) might have made while at home. Walk the home to make sure everything is in good order and notify client of anythig unusual (immediate phone call if necessary, otherwise just a note). Record the time of the visit and drop a check-out ticket before leaving. If the client prefers, a text message will be sent for IMMEDIATE assurance that the cat(s) has been cared for.
