I purchased a 2013 KIA optima sx turbo last yr and I have had 3 radios installed because they do not seem to work. When I spoke to the service manager Ronald he told me my warranty was up at 36000 mi and there was nothing he could do. I asked him how can he speak about a warranty with defective parts?! Very rude, questioned me about my radio performance, not knowledgeable about the KIA brand, and unwilling to help. Needless to say thank God for KIA consumer affairs dept who gave me a new radio at no charge. I am still covered under the parts warranty for defective parts. When my radio came in, the service center didn't even call me to tell me! After a week of no radio in a fairly new vehicle, I am still driving in silence. Install appt scheduled for Monday. Picking it up and taking it to another KIA service center. I don't trust these people
They sold us a car that went into slip mode, and we took it in for service. They replaced a part and told us it was fixed. We drove it home and it began going into slip mode again. After numerous calls to the service department they finally called us back. We brought it back in, and they again replaced a part and told us that it was fixed. It slipped today and lost all power and we almost got t-boned. We notified the dealer who offered to buy the car back at a $5K loss! We have had the car for one month. When we disagreed and left, they laughed at us. This place is egregious. The manager Chad Kranz is completely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. They don't care about the customer, they care about lining their pockets! I will never buy from this horrible place again.
I looked at a few vehicles here, but was living in Florida at the time (I was visiting my fiancé and wanted him to check out vehicles with me) so I ended up buying on down in FL. I've since moved to Petersburg and had a great experience with Priority Nissan's service department. I brought my vehicle in the have it looked at because the low tire pressure light was on (I have nitrogen in the tires) and I also needed an oil change. They found a slow leak in the tire, repaired it for free an ended up not charging me for the oil change either.I was also rear ended and they did the repairs, someone called me and when I came in to pick up my car from the collision center i brought it to the repair shop and they sat down with me to explain in more detail what the collision center did and why the vehicle had shut down when I had been rear ended. I've never left the sales floor or the service center feeling rushed or unsatisfied.
Priority Nissan - Chester is AWFUL!! The customer service is poor! They told us that they would transfer our tags. Instead, they cancelled them and ordered new tags...charging us $40 for new tags. (Later, they told us that they would refund that charge.) They paid off loan for the trade-in AFTER we made our last car payment which was due a week after we traded in the old car and purchased the new car. Meaning that they didn't send in the payoff that we discussed in the paperwork. They reduced the payoff by the amount of the last payment that we made so we paid on a car that we no longer had and Priority reduced the payoff amount too. No one from the dealership will return our calls. BUYER BEWARE!! We wish that we had chosen Sheehy instead!
