I strongly advise you to seek help from any other mental health provider than Christian Psychotherapy Services (CPS). My therapy there was among the worst experiences of my life. Years ago, four women reported Page Huff, the president and founder of CPS, to the Virginia Board of Psychology. In their complaints, they stated Page had engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior with them. I was one of those women. Since my experiences with Page, I have suffered from post-traumatic stress symptoms. Please keep in mind that if four people reported him, many more victims exist who did not file complaints. After treatment ended, I eventually reported Page to the board of psychology. A board member informed me that several other people had filed complaints against Page, and he had reportedly engaged in far more extensive sexual acts with other women than he had with me. Page eventually withdrew from the scheduled hearing and entered a plea of “no contest.” Afterward, Page’s lawyer sent me a notice stating Page would pay me $600 if I would not sue him. Because I was too young at the time to know better and had no one to advise me, I signed the agreement. I did not have insurance, so Page had been paid about $ 10,000 out of my family's pocket. Because Page was allowed to continue practicing, I have lost faith in the licensing board. The only positive outcome from this travesty is I have become an atheist. If this review has helped even one person seek better help, it was worth the effort to write.

I had a horrible experience here. Also gave the formidable response to getting put on medication for the first time. These people were always rude at the front desk for no apparent reason. I had a lot of trauma I had gone through and hoped for the utmost respect and reassurance of privacy and care. However one day I went in with out notice the receptionist told me my Psychiatrist, and I quote, "Had a surprise present for me", so I thought ok this is a little unusual but how nice, I've shared some deep things here. I come around the corner where a woman is waiting with a drug test. No reason at all and out of the blue. Now I realize that insurance requires this yearly, but the way I felt targeted and put on display, This was my "present" with smiles ear to ear on everyone's face and a very unusual way of doing this, I felt really betrayed or even made fun of in some way and disgusted how they acted as if there was something funny about this. I won't be going back.
These people don't care about you at all. They just want your copay and to bill your insurance. I was asked to leave the office because my primary doctor prescribed a medication that I needed. Please don't go yourself and please don't take your children
The receptionists at the front desk are unprofessional. I heard one of the receptionists tell a patient over the phone to beg, borrow and steal because she had a past due balance. I was shocked that the receptionist would talk that way to a patient over the phone! Dr. Hill makes his patients wait for an whole hour before being seen, he's ok.
I was on time for my 1st appt and he was running an hour behind and tonight he's running over an hour behind again. What's the point of having an appointment if he's never going to be on time? He's really flaky also. I'm finding a new Dr. as I won't be returning here.
