Horrible!! The 3 guys should have had it done in 2 1/2 hours took them 4. Broke stuff then hid it and never said anything. Found it while unpacking and no the manager won't replace the stuff they broke!!! Never use this moving company they suck in customer service and their moving abilities!!! Manager was suppose to email me a week ago never got anything. Now he calls to tell me they aren't going to replace what they broke. It's not a large amount of money to replace my items... it's the principle they broke my stuff. Go with a different company and save yourself a huge headache!!!!����
A large portion of my HHG was packed and stored by Clark Transfer & Storage last year while my family was stationed in Japan. The woman that walked around with the clipboard marking the conditions of my items on the inventory purposely avoided me and when I finally got a glimpse of the MASSIVE amount of exceptions that she had noted I asked her to justify them. Her response was ALL attitude and she basically said she she couldn't because nearly everything was already on the truck. So I read the exceptions for the item still on the lawn and sure enough she had marked damage that didn't exist and because I had caught her she scratched out those exceptions, however I was sure she had done the same for every item on the inventory. When the time came to get our belongings back and file our claim, my suspicions were confirmed. The company is attempting to not pay for damages they caused because of the "numerous other exceptions" noted. And since the standard procedure for these moves leaves the paperwork until the end of the day, I felt I had no other option than to sign the paperwork so she would leave. The moving truck with my stuff in it had already left and I had no way to argue with her description of the condition of my belongings. I wonder how many times this company has gotten a free pass on paying for damages they caused by using this practice of exaggerating cosmetic damage as an exception to the actual condition of peoples belongings. Shameful that the military continues to work with them.

"PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LISTENI did not listen to the former reviews and lost $300. Do not hire this company or whatever it is. I do not think this is even a moving company, I think it is headed my one person and he gets movers and trucks. Anyway, a man name Karl Moore came to my apartment to give me an estimate on my move to GA. He told me over the phone that it was going to be 1600, then after he got to my apartment, told me 1700 and it was going to be a 300 deposit. I thought it was strange that he changed the price so quickly and I thought it was strange that he did not have an instrument to key in my items for the move. He just did a quick visual. but did not write anything down. to get an estimate of the weight, but in my haste to move I did not listen to my gut and I paid the deposit. Afterwards, I did some investigation on other websites and made some phone calls. I did not like what I found, so three days later I cancelled my move. Mr. Moore would not give me my deposit back, even though on the paper I signed, it did not have a policy on refunds AT ALL. I am in the process of taking him to court. ****A legit moving coming would not require a deposit and/or will have refund policy written down. Please don't be like me and get taken my this "company"
Awful! Awful! Awful!!!!!! Do not use this company. Read all reviews ( notice the good ones that say the same exact thing that are probably posted by the company). Also check the BBB and read about all of their open complaints and 'F' rating. Sure wish my husband and I had done our research. The two movers arrived and stated the price we had agreed to over the phone. $250 first two hours, $50 each addl half hour. They arrived with no protective equipment for furniture and stated that they would charge an addl $75 to move our treadmill which we agreed to as well. They also agreed to travel to a close by storage unit and pick up a few items. They loaded the truck and did not have enough space to travel to the storage unit, so they stated they would take another trip after unloading. When they arrived at our new home, we noticed they had broken our TV stand and knicked several of our dressers. They also damaged our walls in many spots. We complained. They took pictures and sent them to their main office and said the owner would give us a call. We also had several boxes which they refused to bring into the house and left sitting in our garage. Then they said to go to our storage unit would now be another $250 even though we had agreed that it was in the original contract. The owner finally called and was just as rude and unprofessional as his incompetent workers. We had to hire another company the next day to finish the job. To date, we have not received a receipt or copy of our contract. BBB indicates this company is not even insured or licensed to move anyone by the state of Virginia. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!
Do not use this Business. This was one of my worst moves ever. They damaged my walls and furniture and refuse to take care of it. The manager was a jerk and refused to talk to us.
I would tell anyone that needs to move, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I don't know what they are like in other states, but the ones in Chesapeake gave us the worse moving experience we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Firstly, they forgot we wanted them to pack and over booked so that they were in a hurry to get us done and over. They would not take many of the boxes that we had packed and left a living room of boxes and sundry that I had to move the next day, congestive heart failure and all. Then when we opened a box that was clearly labeled "Fragile! Glass" there was a broken vase that my wife had gotten from her deceased mother. Also, when they arrived, they said they accepted cash only. No one told us this when we scheduled the move on the phone. Thank god for ATM's. They will load your stuff but you have to pay them BEFORE they unload. This is our fourth move in the last 7 years and we always used another company before who we loved the service. I made the mistake of trying to save $50.00 with a coupon we got in the mail. Never again. If and when we move again we will stay far away from One Stop Movers.
