General Info: Charles W. Marks, MD, specializes in Family Medicine and has been a primary care provider for over 44 years. He studied pre-med at Fordham College, in the Bronx, New York and earned his medical degree from University of the East in Manilla, Philippines. He completed internal medicine residencies at the former Cumberland Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and the New York Infirmary-Beekman Downtown Hospital in Lower Manhattan, NY. Dr. Marks worked as a physician for the United States Navy before he relocated to Hampton Roads in 1983. He has practiced at the Mt. Pleasant location for 11 years and has special interest in treating patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes.
