BEWARE!!! I've never experienced such poor customer service. We ordered carpet from Steve in March & did finally receive our product, with a couple of minor hiccups; one of the 3 area rugs he forgot to take to the rug binder & when we picked up our rugs, we had to remind him to provide the padding. Unfortunately, we went back to Steve because we needed the same carpet for another room. This has become a nightmare! Our mistake was calling in a verbal order for the same carpet but a different size. Of course the carpet size was incorrect & Steve blames us, but he said he would pick up the carpet & resolve the issue. He doesn't show up to pick up the carpet, as planned, nor calls to inform us of what is going on. Even before the carpet arrived, we had to follow-up with Steve to find out the status of our order. Now, he states that we have to deal with the situation & hangs up on us!! Tried to have a conversation with him stating that we'll just have to agree to disagree about the carpet size and that we need to move forward with resolving the issue. He chooses to yell and then hangs up!! After, initially dealing with Steve, I was warned by two others & boy were they right!!! We've already contacted another carpet binding company & they have already been extremely helpful & very reasonably priced. We will get this issue resolved, but with working with honest and true professionals!!

I will not use this company again, nor do I reccommend them in any way. Yes, their prices are good, and the installer did a very good job. Howerver, they were never on time to do the work. They said they would start on a Tuesday and it should take two days for the install. Steven show up for about an hour on Tuesday and accomplished very little on the install. His contractor showed up on Wednesday but did not finish the job. Steven had asked when the city trash pickup was so that hey could get the old carpet out for pickup, which was scheduled for Thursday morning. needless to say, they missed the pickup and left a hugh pile of trash on my lawn with no pick until the following Thursday!I was immediatly notified by the home owners associate that I was in violation of the Associations rules and regulations and said that I would be charged for the mess that Carpet Connection left me. I had to hire someone to haul all of the crap to the dump. And Charles immediately began call me over and over again demanding final payment. Since he took his time performing the instalation any stuck me with the removal of the old carpet and padding, I decided to wait three days to give him the final payment.Think twice about using Carpet Connection.
My experience with this business was TERRIBLE. Steve Orr, the owner, is dishonest, unorganized, bad tempered and forgetful. And by forgetful, I mean lose the check you wrote, lose your contract and forget to show up for measurements and installations forgetful! Oh, as if this isn't bad enough, did I mention he will go as far as to blame YOU or his installers for his constant disservice. Yes indeed, I've experienced it all first hand. And what's worse, he does it all without batting an eye or an inkling of remorse. I don't know what egg this "business man" was hatched from but his customer service skills are virtually non-exsistent. So please save yourself the heartache and stay far away from Carpet "Corruption" !
I am the owner of this business.. This customer asked us to hold the particular area rug for 24 hours.. She came back 3 days later and was mad because the rug was sold.. MONEY TALKS !!! We do provide excellent customer service..The contractor that she spoke about has been using us for 15 years and we just completed a job for him last week..This customer was mad because she lost out on a good deal.. We were selling $250.00 area rugs for $75.00
I went to this particular Carpet Connection because it was recommended. I saw two area rugs that I wanted and was going to need to carpet a room in my home. I was not sure if the area rugs would be the right sizes for my rooms and I also needed to bring back a paint sample of my bedroom wall to fimd the best color carpet to order for my bedroom. I asked if he could hold the two area rugs until Wednesday (two days) so I could get the measurememts and paint sample. I was definitely going to buy one of the rugs and possibly both and was going to choose and order the carpet and have it installed. Steve, the owner, was very understanding and said he would hold them for me;he wrote my name on them and wrote HOLD and said, "See you in a couple of days." On Wednesday I returned to get the rug I wanted and I planned to buy the otger one the next week. I was also going to order the carpet that evening. He SOLD the rug I wanted to purchase then already to someone else the day before and said in a very sarcastic manner, "Sorry, you should have cone yesterday like you said." I told him I said Wednesday and today is Wednesday. Again he just said, "Sorry." He had not even tried calling me before he sold the rug. Needless to say I did not buy the other rug or order the carpet. I will never do business with this Carpet Connection and will not recommend to others. I shared this with the contractor who recommended this place to me and he was more apologetic than Steve, the OWNER of Carpet Connection was and said he would not recommend others to this place anymore, either. So, if customer service and integrity are important to you, then I would recommend you NOT go to this particular Carpet Connection store to do business with them.
